agreed. also, he had a very good last year at roma. btw i've got a buddy who happens to be a juventino and a goalie coach for our nt's ex-keeper's goalie academy, and he's impressed by szczesny.
He had a great season. My brother loved him there and he was really quality for Roma.

I absolutely love Gigi, no doubt about that, but I think Polak is going to be a great keeper for us surely. Considering his quality I'd also add that his transfer fee was rather low.

i don't think the squad is more balanced, i just think the weaknesses shifted from the attack to the defense. bonucci and alves are two wc players we let go and failed to replace. that licht & de sciglio pair is especially underwhelming for a team playing 2 cl finals during the last 3 seasons.
More balanced in the sense that we've got the necessary personnel (& backups) to play the formations we usually tend to play. Which wasn't the case in the 2nd half of last season.

But I can obviously only agree that the defense does seem weaker. A lot will depend on Rugani's progress, I guess.
Personally, I still believe in De Sciglio. Then again, I can't say the same for Benatia.

yeah, not a fan of having him as our starter
Yeah I remember his performance for Arsenal as well...

:agree:
We need to address RB issue though, Licht should not play in an important game.
If no Spinazzola it means we need to go for someone else
As for CM we appear to be monitoring Sissoko but it being said he is not exactly on top of our wish list.. The "dream" remains Strootman

Benatia showed a whole lot more in Rome than De Sciglio has ever done. I could even argue how injuries screwed up Benatia, eventhough I still think he's a very good player, but I've got no excuses for De Sciglio. I liked his Italy performances, though, but that won't say much cause I liked Motta's U-21 performances also. And no, I don't think De Sciglio is gonna be as horrible as Motta was, I think he's gonna be fairly good and a very good backup if he even gets to be one. But I surely don't see us reaching high CL stages with our current defense setup. We're 50% new there and both of them are more fragile than our ex-players.

according to some news, allegri is about to reconsider the 2-man midfield, because of the missing passing potential bonucci provided from the back. also, 3-5-2 is out of the question for a while, as it won't suit pjanic.

i do think that bonucci and alves are huge losses, and allegri will need his creativity once again just to rebuild our play. he did that for the last 3 seasons, so i'm not worried about him. i'm more worried about licht+ds and our midfield missing a vidal kind of defending+passing powerhouse for the 3rd year in a row.

please, this is all you got? it has maybe half the volume of incidents compared to Sczcesny's video, and this one is a compilation for a time span of close to 20 years while Sczcesny's was during the 3-4 seasons he was a starter for Arsenal, I expected at least the same amount of funny mistakes considering the amount of games they were compiled from

honestly, as a Polish guy, do you trust Sczcesny to be our starter? you must have watched the most games of him from the posters here
