I find it a bit mad that so many Juve fans are saying something along the lines of "Yeah this has been an 8/10 mercato" and "If we buy this scrub, this nobody and this 30 year old it'll be close to a 9"

Ffs so far we've improved our attack. Great
Neglected our midfield I.E the reason we got spanked again in a CL final
Vastly weakened our defence.

How in the holy fuck is improving one area, ignoring the other (Or buying a scrub in a panic buy) and ruining our defence by getting rid of 2 first team defenders for about £30,000,000 in a world where any half decent 20 year old goes for double that, anything above a 6 at best?

Once again we made stupid money from the CL. Once again our net spend after losing a World class star is something in line with clubs 1/4 of our size.

Unless we get Strootman, Spina and another full back to replace whichever one of Licht/Asa Spinazzola doesn't replace then we've showed a massive lack of ambition.

Actually, we should be all over Cancelo because if we go back to old fashioned can't cross and can barely pass the ball fullbacks then we'll be back to square one.

Kessie is definitely a more exciting name/prospect than some of the $#@! we've been linked with. Kondogbia was a beast 2-3 seasons ago, but he's still young, and the potential is definitely there.
I totally agree with you. I would go after Kondogbia. I think many people forget Davids, Cannavaro, Pirlo and there were other that came from Milan and Inter that sucked there, other example Coutinho. Kondogbia was one of the great DM before he joined Inter.
It is a fact that some players play better in one team than in another, due to system mentality and other reasons.

FI said 45m clause not valid now they say he has the clause..
If theres a clause - pay it
If theres not - try for him

Matuidi pass...
Can and Nzonzi Not my first choice

Kondobia for me is a less talented but more disciplined version of Melo

Ah yes, because the defence was particularly outstanding, especially that guy who left. And those combos between Dybala and Higuain, a work of art. Not to mention the incisive wing play. Don't even get me started on the two cripples.

Totally agree.

Hard for our attack to do anything in the second half considering every single time we got the ball back our midfielders fucked it up straight back to Modric or Kroos.

No defence can just sit back all day long against Madrid in a high stakes game like that. I know it's lovely to think we only lost to Madrid because of a HT bust up but we were simply outclassed, by a far superior midfield.

Strootman is a 50M player.. easily..
Nzonzi did great but he is currently debateable about his worth is 30-40M
I am not sure that Juve are willing to spend big on prospects mid. knowing that Alegri in two occasions spoked very highly about Bentacur. Maybe he is considering him for regular playing time.

Look back a few pages. I mentioned Kondogbia and then the news broke that he was offered to us today. I have a funny feeling its going to be him in our midfield and he might just be our "Davids" style signing like we did with AC Milan in the 90's. From flop to top!
