Is Retegui any good? Or is this hype all based on his two international games?
I’ve never watched the Argentine league beyond the odd Boca v River game, so not sure how much to read into his goal scoring record with Tigre ( which is pretty decent ).

The most important thing is that he seems to have goals in him, and it's not an easy thing to find. You can't teach it. So I can see why Mancini called him and instantly started him, even if I didn't have a clue who he was.
But also Argie league is one thing, internationals (all 2 of them) are another, Serie A is different tactically, and we don't know how he reacts to a lean spell.

He's good, but it's hard to say how he will cope in a top league, especially Italy given how tactical it is, then again we said the same about martinez when he was at racing then joined inter. Would I trust him to lead our line as starter? Probably not, would I have him over Kean? Most probably. I just find it strange that I really rate his father and sister as a hockey coach and player though
He's owned by boca who didnt even try to get him back for some reason, should be available for around 15 mil imo i see him being useful in a midtable team, didnt show enough to suggest he would cut it in a big one.
We will have 2 option come end of the season: keep Vlahovic but replace him with a manager who plays to his style, or sacrifice him in order to keep Allegri. We will choose the latter of course, because we are a stupid club.
With the future of Dusan #Vlahovic hanging in the balance, #Juventus would be thinking of Mateo #Retegui, a #Tigre and an Italian NT striker born in 1999, to reinforce the attack for next season.
