@Osman was the leader of the Giovinco brigade back during the 2009 UEFA European Under-21 Championship lmao

Still am

Honestly 2006 serie B debute (that assist to Trezegol) and onwards to like waning down to 2013-2014, it was magical following Giovincos career from youth to senior.

I watched every single Empoli game on loan almost, most Parma games, but especially his years in Azzurrini U21 NT, one of the more dominant U21 players I seen in long while. He made bums like Bobby Fresh water look good with effortless creativity.

Too bad it didn't pan out in the end, was very exciting talent to follow.

I was a Giovinco fanboy when he played in the youth teams and had genuine hype and potential.

Big difference in supporting a Juve player and still defending a current Inter director.

Ps. You are still a Bonnuci fanboy :baggio:
You were claiming even a couple years ago that Juve ruined Jewbinco’s potential to become a Messi like great or something along those lines. Nice try, cupcake :lol2:

If only Ranieri hadn't tried to force Del Piero back into the team after the successful few games with a 4-2-3-1 where Giovinco and Diego thrived. I still wonder.

Which I still believe. He never found a position that suited him here. I'm not saying he would of been the next Messi but he definitely could of had a better career in a team that suited his characteristics.

Club handled the Giovinco matter worst possible way. He was an exceptional talent. They were at least partly to blame.

I say partly, because his recent comments pointed out that he had the wanker mentality which prevented him fulfilling his potential.

“Conte was a hammer at Juventus, he once rebuked Buffon in the locker room because he was celebrating while we still had to reach the 100-point record,” revealed Giovinco, in an interview with Cronache di Spogliatoio via ilBianconero.
“After Conte’s farewell, the players breathed a sigh of relief and smiled. We felt reborn because we had been squeezed for years.”

I liked him as a youth player too and thought he would turn out great, but c’mon. He got found out here at a big club and wasn’t near good enough. Not even close. His level was MLS/mid-table club.

And don’t give me the crap excuses about him playing as a 9 with his back to the goal under Conte. He didn’t. He played beside a 9 as a SS, and that gave him space to operate. He wasn’t fast enough or strong enough to succeed at the very top level. Never developed the strength and musculature for it.

He wasn't even a Cassano tier talent

He was too frail both physically and mentally to succeed at elite level

It shows how poor JJ youth system is when someone like Giovinco was considered some god tier talent. You will find 100s of Giovinco's in Spain and South America who've amounted to nothing.

The irony of Berardi pushing for Juve is so funny.

Domenico #Berardi has broke with #Sassuolo as the player trained separately while awaiting news of his transfer to #Juventus the player is not off the market yet from the Neroverdi but, will only sell if there’s the right conditions (@TuttoMercatoWeb )

Giovinco is a great example of the blinders we can have as fans of a club and the youth prospects at that club.

Giovinco looked way better than Iling or Rovella imo. More destined for greatness.

It's just a great reminder that as we see these deals for young players come about maybe don't blow a gasket thinking we just sold the next star because maybe we just sold the next Giovinco.
He very well could've had a lot better career here had some things been a little different. He was never going to look good up front looking for long balls from the defense alongside Llorente for example, and surely that would kill almost any player's confidence and then it's just downhill from there. We just weren't set up in a way that he would've worked out here.

1 - i am only stating the facts. when i see a stupid marotta praise, especially when it is from a relentless allegroid, i feel urge to do that.

2 - single most expensive who only cost 10 million extra paid to barcelona.

3 - only danilo is here, because paratici signings were actually sellable. tici contracts were not impossible to get rid of after all.

on the other hand, it was marotta signings who left for free, because no sane club approached them. they were the impossible ones to get rid of, hence almost all of those left for free.

also, i don't know if that is how you do it but, agreeing on a matter does not mean getting into a sexual relationship with someone.
Wait, Holding hands is a sexual relationship?

My body count went way up. But included my mom now.
