We have failed to sell Arthur or Ramsey and they are both staying injured amd earning as much as Cr7
We have failed on the Locatelli negotiations too, as we have paid the unrealistic price Sassuolo has been asking from the beginning, despite the fact that Arsenal withdrew early and we had no competition.
As we still suck big time in transfer negotiations i expect us to release CR7, maybe they ll feed us some unneeded trash.
Chances are that it will be yet another washed up DM or SS...

Yeah, after Chiesa's emergence last year, playing him out of position seems like an awful idea. He has emerged as a truly wonderkid, playing him out of position just weakens what he brings to the team.

Kulusevski playing LW does make sense though. I have a feeling he hasn't impressed Allegri much and might be in the doghouse.
I dont think he can play on the left considering he only knows how to use one foot.

Fact check needed.

Is McKennie actually unfit or does he just have a round face that makes him look fatter than he is? I suspect the latter, he always puts himself about when he's on the pitch.

I disagree, I think a LW should be prioritized much more if we're looking to reinforce the frontline. We don't have anyone that naturally plays on the left.
Well yes and no.
4-3-3 - LW CF RW -
RW we are definitely covered as we have Chiesa Cuadrado and Kulusevski able to play that role.
CF - Dybala, Morata
LW - Morata, Chiesa

You can say both departments are lacking in numbers and in quality (unless you want to put Chiesa as LW for good).
Considering what I have seen in pre-season and the first game - We need someone clinical and we will really improve our game.
If we do get a LW - We are still stuck with Morata who will squander lots of them. When you face teams big teams - you need to make it count for every error they make.
If we dont get a LW but go for a CF - We could play Morata and Chiesa there and considering Morata`s pace I think its even better that he plays that role.

P.S We still need a FK taker, unless we put everything on Dybala..

The thing is Morata is a natural forward, while Chiesa and Kulusevski both prefer and are better on the right. Chiesa being our best player should be in his best position. Due to poor squad planning, we have no natural player for the left.

Thanks, Paratici!

If we sign Icardi and let Kean go to PSG as a replacement then we a donkeys.

Take the younger more talented player who outplayed the more established player at the same club last year. It is a no brainer. But italians love "status" and "experience" and Icardi has more of that than Kean, so i would be shocked if Icardi isn't preferred.

I agree about everything but I do disagree about LW more needed than CF
As for Morata - His natural position is indeed CF but I personally find him more useful as a LW as he is quite pacey and despite not really known for that, he dribbles arent bad at all.
He lacks in the finishing ability for a CF but he can be called a good finisher as a LW.
This is my take on Morata.

Chiesa - Should definitely be on his natural position but since we cant fix all our problems at once I could excuse for him being used on the left from time to time.

Right now our attack should be Morata Dybala Chiesa
If we get a LW - LW Dybala Chiesa but then Dybala isnt always fit so placing Morata as a CF isnt the best thing IMO.
If we get a CF - Morata Dybala Chiesa and we have the option to change to 2 forwards without losing efficiency.

Also if Dybala and Morata both unavailable do we call someone from the U-23 team?
If Morata and Chiesa are both unavailable we could either change formation or even call someone like Soule (who really impressed me by the way...)

Efficiency while changing formations is a big thing with Italian coaches.

Lets just hope we get someone good and not some cheap temporary bandage
