I wish Juventus would have more an eye on South American talent. Use satellite clubs or whatever.

If Fluminense is going to be assraped due to its dire position, having to sell some of the best U17 possibly in the world for peanuts, at least it should be Juve.

There are other amazing kids in this U17 generation. First to come first to serve

Non eu rules hold us back for one, we would have to synergise a deal with another club

we don't need an Icardi, we need a Kean - a talented kid that has a big upside and can fill for Morata/CR7 in Coppa games and against Serie A relegation strugglers.

If it has to be an older player, at least make it somewhat cheap, Icardi is 7-8m per year in salary only. Rather pick up someone from the relegation strugglers who go to Serie B, Crotone has Simy, Spezia has NZola, Cagliari has Simeone, all have enough skill to put the ball into net for a backup striker and would come at a fraction of the cost of Icardi.

He'll never fetch another big contract at this point so he's not moving anywhere unless he lowers his demands. But he's damaged goods now. So I agree: stay away and rather get a young and hungry backup striker.

Even if he drops it to 5m/year (which I doubt, we tend to be very generous with salaries to new signings), together with the transfer fee, even if we stretch it out with paid loans, it's just not economically sound. In a week the guy will be a 28yo, just like Higgy, his value will drop massively over the next 3-4 years.
