I am aware of that. But how about making the team stronger anyway, what do you think?
We all thought our team was not strong enough to challenge top teams in CL before the start of 14-15 season after making 'underwhelming' buys like Morata and Pereyra

Look how that turned out.

Not suggesting we''ll do wonders this season but in my opinion this season was expected to be a transitional season one way or the other.

But it guarantees you the best possible shot.
Not really. City proves you wrong. Chelsea proves you wrong. Every English team with their huge WC signings and yet can't get past group stage proves you wrong.

Not saying i'm happy with our mercato though. The way i see it, before Vidal left i was happy. Tevez and Pirlo gone, we bring Khedira, Mandzukic and Dybala. One huge potential player, one guaranteed goal scoring machine and one decent mid.

Once Vidal leaves for way less than he was worth and we lose Khedira, then we need a top quality player to replace him/depth. Our mercato went to shit.

I said improving the team, not wasting millions on idiotic transfers like Sterling. There is a difference
Everybody who thinks that PSG/City transfer policy is good needs to be executed on the spot. Chelsea will be a contender imo

40mil for Isco

That's a copy of 15+7 for Draxler

PSG's and Chelsea's team is terrific on paper. That's the point Adolf.

they don't have many backups there so don't think they'll sell him. Not a fan either.

che?
Well they bought back Casemiro

They are interested in Biglia :boh:
Real has enough cover in the DM side as mentioned Casemiro returned they still have Lucas Silva, and they are words saying they are after Biglia / William Carvalho.
Having said that, I skip Illara unless we get him on loan . He isn't really an upgrade over what he have, but more of a cover signing. I remembered , Carlo didn't even play him against us instead choosing Ramos to play in the midfield even though they had Modric out injured. He been rather anonymous in Madrid and we already have one of their CM rejects in Khedira, we don't need Illara.

Contender as in top5 teams to win it. Not top candidate
So u admitted now that Chelsea was one of the contenders to win it or go far in the comp last season ?

What happened ? How come they lost to a stupid inferior club like PSG ?
