Ahh, yes. But it's been done.

Gotta say though... isha00 has my vote for best flag avatar. :cheesy:

(Btw, I have one of the flags in my attachment above hanging in my office. :D)

I feel this thread deserves a longer reply than I have time to write at the moment, but that'll have to wait.

I attend live football matches all the time. I'm a member of the supporter's committee at my local club, and I have links to the National League Supporters' Association (a newish but fairly substantial group representing the fans of the Irish clubs and the national team).

These clubs are always obsessed with attendances. The average top flight club here gets about 1,500 people to a game - peanuts by Juve standards. However, the problems with attendances are the same. Access and facuilties, fan culture and ticket prices.

Now, we're not in a position to relocate the SDA to somewhere other than the wilderness far from Torino, nor can we pad the seats and add a nice restaurant, nor do anything about the ticket prices.

That leaves fan culture. The most enjoyable part of fan culture for me is the songs.

Erm, sorry to cut this so abruptly short, but the boss just called for me to attend a meeting now. Anyhow, talk to ye.

I like the flag idea...

I have noticed a couple of things :

My pm box displays all messages as read whethre they have been or not... Eg. as soon as i send something it shows it as having been read... other issues with the pm system as well...

For some reason when replying to a post you dont seem to be able to copy your post before you send (something i like to do incase you get disconnected or logged out etc as you send your post)... you can paste into the reply box but not copy from it... also makes it dificult to quote multiple people in one post...

In your new rules thread, you say not to reopen old threads, which i personally think is a good idea...
The other forum i use automatically locks threads after a set amount of innactivity... could you not do similar here ?

Screw him:D

But seriously I would like to see a function that tells you who qouted you, so one could keep track of the discussions and not let any discussion go unanswered.

Meh. I only post in select threads so I always know. That way I follow the conversation whether it involves me or not. ;)

BTW Marty, are those flags supposed to be a Christmas present or what?

I think Keith is away. That'll slow down any such work.

    Hey Marty,

is there any way I could see all my PMs in just one page? its easier to delete them rather to go through 11 pages
