I think that his key component in his game, aside from the fact that he is a 12-13 goal scorer whilst not always playing in his preferred position, is #1) His vision #2) the fact that he doesn't have a weak foot.

What his vision and anticipation does, is that it forces the opposition to draw to him, and not just in one-on-one coverage either. It forces defenses to shift to him. If you look at the past couple of seasons, you'll notice that what he does, when he draws such opposition to him, is that he is able to quickly and more often than not correctly place the ball to a teammate in a position where that teammates chances to score are exponentially higher.

The 2nd point of him not having a weak left foot is not just solely relegated to his ability to score with both feet. It has much more to do with the fact that because of this, he is a nightmare to gameplan for. You can't, as an opposing coach, just say to your squad "Keep jovetic to his left, and he will be negated". Doesn't work that way. His ability to use both of his feet on both sides of the pitch, on the ability to turn towards goal and place an accurate shot using either foot, is instrumental.

And as far as the complaint that he doesn't score enough goals to warrant that price, think about this for a second.

This Juve model is not based on the individual, but on a combination of players working in unison, with cutting, running, anticipation, and a variety of players scoring goals. Let's keep in mind that players such as Vidal and Marchisio don't score goals solely on the premise that no one else can, but it's because the have that ability, along with Pogba to be able to score goals from the midfield position. This squad is not based solely on the individual, but the team. This is where the impact of a Jovetic, in my opinion, will be felt the most.

I think that Jovetic has suffered since his injury due to the position he's been told to play. He has been playing too far up the pitch as he is not a natural CF.

If we play him deeper, behind Llorente, I think he'll be more like the player that destroyed Liverpool.

I go back and forth with Jovetic in my head. I think ultimately, I definitely want him here. 30M is way too much but I also don't think we'll pay anything close to that. This guy does have a lot of potential, obviously he hasn't realized it yet but it seems that players with potential seem to do well in this new Juventus so I would welcome him with open arms.

Fiorentina has nowhere to sell him but here. I don't really remember us paying whatever is rumoured immediately. I think it'll end up at something like 17M + Quag which is fine, whatever.

Compilation videos are pointless though. Based on this video, Gio was boss this season:
:disagree::disagree::disagree: nope, only for those who don't know much about football.

look at the way they moves, there's certain difference between gio and jojo, jojo have that special agility on his feet, guys like ronaldo, messi, van persie have it, gio don't have it.

Llorente doesn't deserve to start over Vucinic. Atleast not yet. Maybe he'll prove me wrong but I really really doubt it.
How did you come to that conclusion?

Llorente is an actual center forward who is excellent at shielding the ball, headers, linking with other players, and he positions himself very well in the penalty box. He is also a better finisher than Vucinic.
Vucinic-Jovetic would merely be a rich man's Vucinic-Giovinco, this kind of SS duo seldom works.
This is why we signed Llorente, we need to use an actual CF.

Buffon
Licht-Barzagli-Bonucci-Chiellini
Vidal-Pirlo-Pogba
Jovetic
Llorente-Tevez
I would like to see that formation, but it makes no sense to move one of the top 5 CB's in the world to a position he's okay at, but where he doesn't really shine. Honestly, would rather see Asamoah as a LB, the guy is impeccable defensively.
