I sympathize with Nick, I really do. Given Marotta's track record when it comes to signing strikers, he has a reason to panic (a bit early though).

Marotta seems to think/believe that players must bend over and prove that they want Juve @ all costs, whereas he doesn't come across as someone who is willing to compromise (all this on our own terms, no bidding wars BS). It's a chicken shit approach tbh.

Marotta has until the 2'nd of September (July would be preferable, since Conte seems to want his full squad ready by then) to get one of those highly rated targets we are after (Tevez, Higuain, JoJo). If he fails by then, he deserves to be questioned.

For sure. If he fails to lure any of those three mentioned then enough is enough is my opinion.

His deluded mind thinks that Madrid are eventually going to accept Marotta's installments offer for Higuain.
i just find it incredible how we spend the season bitching about the lack of quality up front and demanding that marotta fills that void, yet the moment we get linked with a 29 year old world class player or a younger player who is valued at 30 mill suddenly the reaction is HELL NO!, he's washed up! he's not worth 30 mill! he's not world class! etc...

so that leaves the question who is realistically left?
