Just to let you all know, I've removed my moderation powers. My heart's just not in it any more. I'm not sufficiently regular to know the members like I did, I don't know that I'm entirely in step with the other mods as I once was, or that I have as good a feeling for the tone of the forums.

I hope to continue to contribute a bit to the forum as a regular member.

I hope it doesn't have to do anything with me :shifty: Sorry to hear that mik, looked forward working with ya. You were probably one of the best mods ever, even though you gave out many warnings. It's how the job is supposed to be done.

I hope you'll stay around anyhow. Your presence is appreciated.

Not on a personal level. I'm sure you'll make a fine mod, and I had no objection to you being made a mod, or to working with you. But the fact of the matter is, I barely know you, and your promotion highlighted to me that I'm just out of touch with the forums.

You're not going to disappear now are you? :frown:
    No, I don't intend to.

Thanks for the kind words, folks.

    Martin, pot, kettle. :p

    My mentor :touched:

You are the moderator that taught me most on these forums in regards to everything. How to deal with provocations, criticism, personal arguments. Your input will be hugely missed in the batcave. I hope you stay around at least as your input to the forums is not any less than down there.

You've done a great job John. It's sad to lose you as a moderator, you were a good one. I really hope you stick around as a member and continue to raise the quality of the forum.

Well this means a significant reduction in the amount of warnings given :p

Just kidding mate, you were a really good Mod, this place needed some strictness from time to time. Anyway i hope you stay as a member at least.

But you were the only mod that bothered putting me in my place

John was a good mod (apart from the time he :turk: me:p )
And a serious serious man, too serious i may add, but i ve always liked that and craved for more of his objective and dead serious posts.
(remember him, Denco and Paul interacting?)
But somehow i keep missing them, because he posts in threads i dont happen to read.
I cant believe that he has 3-4posts/day. Where is he hiding those posts?

Every time i see him , i m surprised that he is still among us, i was sad to see this thread, because i feel that being a mod was one of the last things keeping him among us.
I understand and respect this decision though, its logical and i hope that we wont lose him!
As long as i can remember this forum, the watchful eye of Mikhail was there
(Dusan you better step up, you hear that?)
It is such a strange feeling, knowing that Mikhail wont be monitoring the forums anymore!
Hopefully i will be lucky enough to intercept more of his posts and he will keep them coming!
