Yes, the way Lemina completely disappeared leads me to think he might have done some fuckup (complaining/not training with intensity/nightlife).

The guy was doing well until he completely vanished and scrubs like Asamoah and Sturaro are getting playing time.

Dude got sent off in Lyon for two yellows, that game tonight wasn't one he was going to be risked in.
And all the games before that where he hadn't gotten a second of playing?

It sure was very useful to put in Sturaro who lost 4 or 5 possession in a row.

Players like Sturaro will always be preferred over talented individuals in italy. They work their ass of tirelessly and always follow instructions.

But in all honesty, neither Lemina nor Asamoah are that much superior to Sturaro. Yes, they might be technically more gifted, but they are all equally useless in it comes to overall strength.

His football is something like a Ice Hockey player without his skates, abandoned on a football pitch. Clumsy, terrible in posession, wild like a dog, without any tactical sense. Absolute shame that he is playing before Lemina, or even Hernanes. A Nerfed, retarded and Unpatched version of Gattuso. :facepalm2::yuck:

Lemina is way better than Sturaro as a BTB midfielder.
You are right about the other thing though. Players like Sturaro are preferred in Italy over more talented players.
And people wonder why a country like Italy produces so little talented youngsters. Its because tactical intelligens and disciplin is preferred over technic, speed, creativity etc. The problem is that a 22 year old player lacking tactical intelligens and disciplin can somewhat learn it at that point in hes carriere. The tecnical and football aspect of the game is mainly developed, when you are a kid.
