First, I didn't give any false Info. Anybody knows Canna transfer details, I think. 10m for Canna, 4 yeas ago, was nothing in compare to the price we wanna pay for this Stankovic today.
And, It was Stankovic who snubbed Juve in favor of Inter and this is why I say we should not go for him. I clearly remember he said he prefer Inter to Juve! He dosen't like Juve and we all know it for many years, the way he plays against us these years clearly shows it. You just forgot soon!

What Juve payed for Cannavaro back then wasn't a steal. We payed his fair price. I read some old posts where Inter fans were actually pleased they got rid of the flop and even earned money and a back up keeper.
For a 31 yo ddefender who had 2 bad seasons 10m eur+Carini was rather expensive.
Moggi took the risk and he won at the end. But only because Canna played great for Juve we think that it was the steal of the century. At the time when we bought Cannavaro it didn't look like a steal at all.

Actually, the Cannavaro situation can be compared to Zambrotta's situation now.
Zambrotta is 31, he was great in the past and he had 2 very bad season with Barcelona after that.
If Milan payed 10m eur+player to buy Zambro from Barca, would you think that it was a steal and a great deal ?

Actually Ferrara and Deschamps came around 94, so not sure if they were done deals already when he came, or he signed them (Likely he signed Ferrara because he was boss in Napoli while Ferrara was there).
And you are just namedropping btw, without considering wether or not they are good deals at all. I liked Di Vaio, but how was he a good deal? Way overpriced and was decent, but not good enough. You have hardly analysed several of those deals.

That's true, but my point was that it's not a good enough reason not to sign a player. I don't like him much either but as long as he arrives and plays with 110%, I won't really care what he said in the past. Truth is he will add depth and experience, something we will need in the CL. Of course, just signing him alone would not be enough, but that's another story.
