Who Says Stankovic Is Leaving? - Agent
Dejan Stankovic's agent Vinicio Fioranelli says Inter have no intention of selling the midfielder to any club at the moment.
While the opinions among the Juventus fanbase and the club itself have been divided on whether it would be a good idea to sign Inter's Dejan Stankovic, a legitimate question would be: do Inter actually want to let go of the Serbian midfielder?
"Inter have never asked me whether Stankovic would be available to leave," said his agent Vinicio Fioranelli, "he's doing very well at Inter and the club never manifested the intention to sell him. In the last few years Stankovic has received offers from many big clubs, like Arsenal and Real Madrid, but he always stayed.
"This is not discredit Juventus' interest, but for things to change it's necessary that Inter want to sell him and at the moment that's not the case."
On whether Stankovic may not fit into coach Jose Mourinho's tactics, Fioranelli said: "I don't think that someone with Dejan's qualities could stay on the bench for long. But if that were the case, we would have to discuss it with Inter."
