So you guys are linked with this guy too? I don't know how great of a signing this would be. He gives experience and adds depth but the reality is he has maybe a couple of seasons left if he isn't finished yet.
He's 29, in his prime, still a strong runner, so I think he'll be good for at least another three seasons.

Interesting signing. Stankovic can play a bunch of positions, so he gives us a lot of opportunities for cover. He's good on the ball and a good passer with some creativity, so I don't mind his signing. Perhaps we'll see this then.

Buffon

Zebina - Andrade - Chiellini - Grosso

Camoranesi - Xabi Alonso - Sissoko - Stankovic

Trezeguet - Del Piero

With Giovinco and Amauri coming on. Or Stankovic on the bench for Gio. Must say, not bad. Lets just hope we don't have to rely on Mellberg at the back.
You've lost all hope in Nedved Andy?

Stankovic is a very good player and the only reason i don't want him at Juve is because he already rejected us to go to Inter even if he did that to go to Mancini. However i still think that if we sign him he will be very usefull to the squad. He is very experienced and can play in many positions.

Stankovic would be a good signing, if the price is right.

He will offer depth in a number of positions, which is what we need.

Presumably this would be the end of Marchionni.

I haven't lost hope, but come on, how many more years can we continue fielding him? He's almost 36 years old FFS.

He was good in Serie A though IMO.
You were their for most of the Serie A matches I got to see. I just think you guys would benefit more from concentrating on purchasing a solid left back or a more dynamic player for the left side of midfield...

...Like Harry Kewell. :D

i dont know what you think of him, wanna fill me in?
Overrated and washed up, never was the same since he left Leeds United where he was SICK.

Great team this was, no matter how much I hated it.

Robinson

Kelly - Woodgate - Ferdinand - Harte

Bowyer - Bakke - Dacourt - Kewell

Viduka - Smith

Dacourt was a beast back then as well.

Indeed.

Semi-final of the CL to being relegated in about two years though.

Even though I hated seeing that club reach the Semi-final, they really did well to get there.

If I recall correctly they beat Barcelona at Camp Nou at one stage of the tournament.

ok good i agree.. id like to see him come back to Australia and play for Sydney FC in the A-League.
He probably will one day.
