That's not at all what I said, I said words that you use to describe the babit are exaggerated, like andy said; "kissing an ash tray", that is something that's exaggerated. I've kissed smokers and been kissed, never did it taste like an ash-tray.

Well I never said that, and I don't know what an ashtray tastes like either. But I do say it disgusts me and that's a statement of fact.

I don't deny there is a problem, but non-smokers are doing nothig to help solve it either. The attitude "it's bad for us, everybody must stop doing it" is wrong IMO. Like I told you I respect people that have a problem with it, my Dad is the best example, and I'll do everything I can to not hurt them and make them suffer.

There is a big misunderstanding here. The reason non-smokers hate smoking isn't because of health. I have hated smoking ever since I can remember and it wasn't because I was concerned about my health. There's been lots of studies to show that smoking isn't all that dangerous, except for long term effects and so on. And I'm way too young to worry about my health anyway.

It's about discomfort, it's fucking annoying to have to endure smoking. I'm more resistent to it now, but when I was a kid and I was in a room where people smoked I would feel all hot, eyes itching, headache, I felt like shit. I didn't just imagine that. I've done pretty much everything I could in my life to avoid smoking. Right now I don't really get symptoms anymore, although when exposed to it for several hours I do get a milder version of the same thing. I get an immense craving for cold air and water.

In return I only ask the same thing, if I want to smoke on the freaking balcony or in my room where I don't bother anyone why shouldn't I? The non-smokers in my home see it that way and don't give me problems.

Another myth. Here's the thing about gases. They spread. "Smoking in the other room" doesn't actually mean it's air tight. Of course you get less smoke, but you still get it. And if you can't stand the stench of it, well there's nothing you can do about it.

I wish you knew how f annoying it is to open your window on a hot day and get the disgusting smell of smoke in your room because some asshole decided to smoke by the entrance to the building.

I can go up to someone and punch them in the stomach. It won't endanger their health, because it's too mild to actually be dangerous. But that doesn't make it acceptable.
