Better than Buffon they say

Buffon at his worst (early last season, confederations cup) was not that bad.
Buffon at his worst was probably the first few weeks after he came back from the back-injury a couple of years ago.

But yeah, these Casillas stats are horrible. Real's management are idiots for letting Lopez walk away.

A lot of people seem to think that this Real Madrid team won't work. I hope they're right. Real need to stop destroying the game with their transfer market BS
They're using Kroos and Modric as a double pivot with James as a 10. This is a recipe for disaster, none of their midfielders as a good defensive sense like Xabi Alonso and they've replaced Di Maria's great work rate and defensive work with Ozil 2.0 (James).

They're defensively atrocious midfield exposes their awful CB pair of Ramos and Pepe and they're playing with two offensive fullbacks. They will leak goals this season.

That sounds great. Except that Barca will win the league

I don't know about that, Atletico looks as strong as last year. They replaced the players they lost with equally good ones.

Selling Di Maria was such an idiotic move, jeez, I have no words...
It's selling Makelele (Di Maria) and signing Beckham (James) all over again.

Of course Di Maria is not the same kind of player that Makelele was but they were both the engine of Madrid's midfield.

I actually expect Barca to be really strong this year. They have the best attack in the world, and while their defence is certainly hardly anything to be proud of, it's at least decent. Busquets also provides a lot of cover.

Don't forget about Xabi and Casillas...

Of course. However, I think that Di Maria was their biggest loss.
