First the hype, every time england enters a competition the hype over their team from their media is unbelievable. One would think that Brazil are playing not England.
Second and thats the worst thing IMO is the arrogance, Last season me and my friends were in a bar watching Juve playing chelsea in the CL and there were a bunch of chelsea fans (mostly english and some canadians) cheering for chelsea and they were like suprised that there are people out there supporting Juve !!
They were talking about Juve as if that club is some shitty club from a 3rd division somewhere is east europe !! Thats the kind of attitude that i just can't stand. Bit of "modesty" would make the english teams in general and england's NT more likeable

The hatred towards the English is usually out of jealousy if you ask me. Envy their money, their popularity, their publicity, their stadiums, their teams.. everything.
