They were kicking the shit out of him Alen (atleast at the beginning, not later so much), I have no idea how you can say he was diving around. Not that he doesnt dive, he did in the last scenario when he lost the ball, but he is one of the few players who takes vicious tackles and still tries to stand and run on (not this game, but in general). Punishes them by keep going. Cynical playacting now or then happens, but no way comparable to Kaka who hardly can take tackles at all.

And Alves and Messi in the same wing is one of the most epic things in the sport.
