3 league titles, 2 Spanish Cups, 2 European Super Cups, 2 World Club Cup titles, 2 Champions League titles, all in 3 years. You'll find it hard to argue that they shouldn't be considered one of the best teams in the history of the game.

That is in addition to their ridiculous percentage of won games both domestically and on the European stage.

Like them or hate them, they've made history.
I realize that, but it's just so fucking annoying to see things like this at every turn. And the bandwagon fans on the street, my God.

I don't agree. I have no bias, what are you talking about? You don't seem too familiar with my opinion on Messi :D Ask Alen, he'll assure you that i am not biased against Messi at all. :p

C'mon, everyone's biased. He's French and he's cool. Messi's an annoying twat.

But what Messi has achieved at his young age way surpasses what Zizou has and he will most likely go on to do more. The only thing left for the detractors is that Messi hasn't led his NT, so a WC win with him being the protagonist is all he needs and they will have nothing left except that Zidane was cooler, more graceful, humbler, classier, more technique, more of an artist, etc.

That being said, screw Messi, forza Zizou.

I agree with Matt. If Messi leads Argentina to a WC he'll be on Maradona's level.

I bet Messi's one of those guys who spits at poor people when they ask for change. Iniesta's the only cool dude at Barca.

Hmm, he's been playing like a CB this season right? Wonder for which position they want him.

There are better CB's out there than him for that price.

Zidane at 24 was in 1996, Messi is currently 24, its clear which one has shown or achieved much more at that age. Defenitely need to say give it time (as in nearer Messi's career) before saying stuff like no doubt.
The same argument could be made for C.Ronaldo. Don't care what Messi has achieved at 24, Zidane was a late bloomer, but the difference in ability is obvious. In terms of talent there might not be that much of a difference between them, but in terms of vision and intelligence on the ball the difference is there for everybody to see, and that is why Zidane retired as one of the best players in the world at 34, while i'm pretty sure Messi won't be so good when he loses his pace and physical ability.
