Don't forget the effect these games will have on them over a full season. Every game in La Liga is a walk in the park. 4 goals then relax. Even if the game is tight, it's not a physical match, it's tight because they are scoring back and forth.

Over the course of 38 games playing pirates like Siena, Catania, Chievo, you will either be hurt or tired. Mentally, physically. I would bet that Ronaldo or Messi would get more knocks in 1 game then 3 or 4 in La Liga.

Ronaldo scored like 40 goals in EPL and FA Cup, if he can score that amount in the best league in the world he sure can socre about 30 in Serie A.

A joke translated from Arabic.

Repoter: What do your players eat for Breakfast ??

José Mourinho: Vegetables

Repoter: What do they eat for Lunch ?

José Mourinho: Vegetables.

Repoter: And what do they eat for Dinner ?

José Mourinho Vegetables.

Repoter:  So what the difference between your squad and animals ??

José Mourinho: 10 points

The point is the small teams in Serie A play with 10 players behind the ball and manage to get draws against big teams (like Siena did against us) while small teams in La Liga try to play offensively against Barca or Real, thus spreading their legs in the process and conceding 4-5+ goals.

Small teams in Serie A aren't better than their La Liga counterparts but they used much better tactics against the big boys. Teams like Siena and Novara are terrible but they understand that they have to park the bus against the good teams, a very simple notion that La Liga clubs do not understand.
:agree:
And in Italy, the defenders won't just look at Messi running with the ball. They will immediately put pressure on him.

amMessi, if you don't find this pathetic, you're just too big a fanboy:

Who will you be cheering for on Saturday?
Milan - Juventus?

I won't be cheering for anyone. Will just sit back and enjoy the game.

If it would do us any good i'd support Juve and hope they demolish them, but we're hardly going to overturn the result against Milan with the likes of Djourou, Theo and Ramsey on board :D

Well ya, thats fun as well :D

Pep - “We’re 10 points behind but, honestly, I don’t think we deserve to be 10 points behind the way we’ve played this season."

I think it is precisly because the way you played you are 10 points behind. barca... how can you not hate them?
They tend to be arrogant, obnoxious cunts in the media. Believe me, as an Arsenal fan i've experienced that firsthand. Though in all fairness, Pep is usually quite respectful.

Good man... hey, don't forget the famous Departivo - Milan tie from 2003-04 season (1-4, 4-0). Anything is possible...

I always think of that game. But that happens once in a lifetime, and i don't think we have the players nor the mentality for it :p

Well two bad people died because of Ramsey, i think it deserves taking a risk, maybe Bashar will be next :D
