Do you mean recently? Or in the past? Anyways, he served them well for 8 years and truly grown attached to the the club (typical badge kissing is the routine/easy way to show that), was obvious, but yeah not comparable to ones boyhood home club. Arsenal compared to that is more of a professional player who likes a club he played a long time with, but that stopped being competetive enough for a top player like him to remain (is the last top player to leave, after previous generation of top players, now IMO Arsenal really doesnt have an actual top player).
