Salv, its not about affording, Pep simply says he doesnt need another CB, that what they have is fine, which is weird, because they were exposed with Milito there even, but now one CB less, even if one barely used, should make it more of a reason to get one.

lol we watched different games i guess

How do you notice Abidal's poor performance but not Mascherano's? Thats baffling, especially since it should be more eyecatching that Mascherano made clear error on first goal, and made more eyecatching errors like make very bad mispasses that gave Real counters, besides losing his mark or getting burned, like Abidal was.

you cant deny fab was a cunt too fred in how he acted for the past 2-3 seasons!! this is'nt saying barshitlona are angels they r sickening and there players are as low as they get cough cough xavi cough cough
How was he a cunt. He never made a public statement about wanting to leave the club, and we all knew he wanted to leave last summer, but he accepted the fact that Barcelona weren't willing to pay up. Other players make public statements, go on strikes etc. He always gave his all and there were never any qualms on his professionalism.

I just went off on affording because of the two huge signings they've made already, and I fully agree with you. Milito was barely present anyway because of his constant injury problems.

fred he kept blah blah about how he dreams of playing for barca as its his child hood dream, and then goes on to sign a contract with arsenal and u have barca players as of late claim he is being kept a prisoner against his will when its there team that does'nt want to meet the asking price arsenal have asked for. fred where is the loyality to the team that actually believed in him and gave him a chance!! if i'm not mistakened was'nt viera shipped off bec fab was coming up and was taking over and wenger placed his faith in fab to take over? that has a price bro. i did'nt like how this dragged on for several seasons now, why could'nt he come out and say yes playing for barca is my dream i want to go instead of signing on a deal and then at the end leave after all the drama surrounding his capture specially from the barca camp. he would've gained much more respect if he had stayed and probably moved to barca at a later stage of his career out of respect for the team and supporters who have given him the chance to grow into the player he is now. thats just my opinion i might be wrong

Wow. Big surprise. This league is still a farce of a competition.

UEFA should simply ban it from any competitions for sheer ridiculousness and faux parity.

8 years, 303 games later, and he wants to go back to his home town club that he loves as a fan, when he has stuck through with Arsenal for like 4-5 seasons in a row where they havent been competetive and he has been so alone as only real top quality player, and you say he is disloyal prick??? How he left Barca was more of a sign for that, not how he left Arsenal where he gave so much, and didnt got much in return.
