oh and dinho in his peak of career was the most awesome player i ever seen..messi and kaka are a step down
Everyone in Barca jerked off in a glass and he drank it. Even the therapits.

Barca's semen is more than semen, it's healing.

on the other hand dinho has demonstrated he can make people around him look good, messi to a lesser extent. Have you ever wondered how much zidane's game would be different if he was more physically gifted?
That is true, but still his pure efficiency has made Barca what they are right now. I don't think they'd be so strong without him. So it evens itself out if you ask me.

As for your second question, if its pace we're talking about, i sometimes think Zidane's lack of pace made him the technical mastermind, and visionary that he is/was. Pace might have ruined it for him, he might have played a different game(ie playing style).

I'd agree with that. What Ronaldinho does with the ball, other players only dream of having. The machine like efficiency of Messi, his unrivalled close ball control and his pace and strength make him a better overall player than Dinho though, if i were asked who to take assuming both are in their prime. I'd give the slight edge to Leo.
SLight edge, it's huge edge. Ronaldinho at 24 was still playing in Ligue 1. Messi will go down as one of the greatest for sur. Ronny's prime is too short to place him in a similar group.

exactly, hence the question. If zidane could take it himself he wouldnt pass; but you know where i stand in this, el diez is pure magic, no one comes close in my mind, messi is footbalistically there, but passion and balls? not even close

I meant, when both at their prime. All in all as a career, Messi has surprassed Dinho by miles, no doubt about that. I'm sure even Deneb agrees with that, we both were talking about both players at their best though.

I haven't watched Maradona, wasn't alive when he was at his prime :D, thats why i don't include him. I would tend to agree with you based on video clips and a few reruns of Argentina and Napoli games, Maradona was probably the best there ever is. But like i said, my opinion probably doesn't have much weight since i haven't watched enough full games of him.

I'd say so if I said it anywhere else.

This forum? Naaaaaah :p
Good point. Can't disagree :p

Personaly I rate messi higher than Dinho but I think Ronaldo (Brazilian) is better than both of them if not for the serious injuries that he had. The guy was just extremely talented.

Ronaldo was a monster. I think he's better than those two also but he was injured too often and had his career cut short from partying. Messi has so much time ahead of him and will be remembered as the better player but I don't see him surpassing the likes of Zidane and Maradona.

Ronaldinho is the most magical player I've ever seen, period.

He made me enjoy football like no other player around.

Zidane was the better player though, and from what I've seen of Diego, he was just the best.

Messi may be better than Ronaldinho but the latter is the most exciting footballer player I ever saw.

Back in 2004-2007 he was pure magic.
I agree.

i don't know why Ronaldinho ruined his career like that but this goes for most of Brazilian players too. bad attitude always hunts them. but this guy was the best at his prime even better than our Messi, he got the potential to be on of the best ever. and phat Ronaldo is the best striker till now. and Del Piero is the best SS i have ever seen. and Mardonna is the absolute magic, the best ever.
standards of this days ain't that good specially when someone like cr7 competes for the best player in the world.
i miss the 90's :(
