I hate to admit i miss those fights. Although we were always way too nice to Argentinos when they played in Brazil. While you guys made our lives a living hell. From fireworks near the hotel to keep our players up all night to the extreme hostility in and off the pitch.
It wasn't until the 90's that Brazilians learned to fight back, well it was actually when we start caring about the Libertadores. Like Italy in the past, we always treated our own national tournament with more importance than the continental one.
You probably hate this day but here was our payback
all my brazilian friends were cheering for boca in those games, one of them even dressed his baby in boca colors sorry to have failed you timao should have always remained trophyless
boca played well because cerro was so horrible. river played lazy football and should have lost by quite a few gols if not for the pinchas being so wasteful/clumsy
but 2 clasicos are upon us and boca is in copa lib, so i am not complaining
i dont know if you noticed but there also was an obvious hand ball in the gol, add to that that the ref added 9 minutes in ET(arsenal was winning 2-1 in regular time)
