thats actually a really good idea to maximize returns and keep talents longer, but i also like the charm of small teams in local leagues, and i feel this might hurt them
It's beyond salvation for them. SA Football has been slowly dying for at least a decade, it needs change. The solution has always been merging all the American continents into one and having this one tournament for them all. The American and Mexican teams aren't the shit they used to be anymore, in fact, MLS has a more fluid and fun football than any SA team right now. Oh, and they have money :klin:

It's too bad South American teams have to continue playing without any star players good enough to play for their national teams. River is really missing Teo.
