im not worried about milan or inter to be honest. whether they bought those players or not, they were going to be our main rivals for the scudetto anyway.

was crespo really needed at milan?? NO. was Stam really needed at Milan?? NO. Milan should have looked at a supporting striker role player to partner shevchenko. now they have tomasson, inzaghi and crespo, all main strikers. Stam, maldini, cafu and pancaro all in their 30's, Nesta late 20's. it wasnt the correct options IMO.

Inter brought in veron, a player who hasnt performed well since leaving Lazio. Davids has joined for a reason im still yet to know. Did they need davids or a real defensive midfielder who sits back? i thought having stankovic and emre in the squad were the players which would prevent davids from joining inter. but nonetheless, if inter want to use davids as their anchor, so be it. but i think we all know its not his natural position. inter still lack a left back, a quality tall strong central defender and on top all of all that, they must break their spell of bad seasons.

so both have signed players, but all signings are sus IMO.

and of course moggi hasnt even started. if emerson joins, he fixes the anchor man role up. juve has lacked a world class anchor for quite some time now. emerson and davids differ, even though having both in midfield would be perfect. but at the end of the day, emerson and maresca is also great. janks, oddo, mutu, gilardino, ujaflusi, cannavaro, rosicky all being rumoured is all good signs.

and most of all, at least moggi and capello are looking at players to suit the team. they are looking at NEEDS instead of WANTS. This is what makes juve different to inter and milan.

with mercato,yes probably.

but we have yet to see what capello can do with the team.rejuvinating a few dispirited players will do wonders for the team, and that so happens to be one of don fabio's traits.arrogant as he may be he can bring out the best of players.

a reborn del piero, for instance, would be an incredible driving force.

I personally would like to see something like this:

---------------Miccoli Trezeguet----------------

----------------------Nedved--------------------

--------------Emerson --- Maresca------------

Jankulovski ----------------------- Zambrotta

--------Ujfalusi Thuram Legrottaglie--------

--------------------Buffon----------------------
Thats a hell of a team! Looks very good!

unless zambro and janko are being played as offensive wingbacks, it looks a tad defensive to me. emerson is capable of attacking but both he and maresca help out the defence a fair bit so in reality we'd only be left with micco, neddy and trez in attack.and miccoli's a forward/AM more than a striker, so we're left a bit thin up front without more midfield support.

Exactly, they would be used as wingbacks, expected to act both like offensive wingers and full backs in defense.

well i cant find any anglo sources of this transfer so this must be a rumour .... but if not i wouldnt put mutu up front.

He will be our playmaker .. pure and simple, he was class in that role for parma, so if we got him, i would play him in hte totti role....which imo would work beautifully ... giveng us more time to find a real playmaker.

i seriously hope that we can get him but its not looking too good, i mean if chelsea sold him they would only have Kezman as an attacker and more than likely Drogba so its not looking good for Mutu-Juve.. ah well Zlatans formation is good enuff for any team, lets hope tht this will come true

Kezman, Gudjohnson and they've just agreed terms with Drogba (linky ). I can see them going for someone else if they wanted/needed to.

This is complete BS, no way Mutu will come to Juve, he enjoys London too much, he was out partying all the time last season, going back to Italy I don't think so.
