I love it when people predict the future.

"Marchisio will not be a starter next season. Especially not since we now have Vidal."
"Krasic on the right, Elia on the left will be our starting set up."
"Conte is a stubborn coach that will not change his tactics."

I think that was his point :shifty:
In Brazil, full backs have to know to attack as well as defend... actually the first quality we look is in the offensive end.

anyway, the comparison is out of order, because they do both jobs very well.

Pick one full back who can't defend, or can't attack, and then we can compare.

Dani Alves, especially when he was younger, was a terrible defender.

The point is that people are willing to play fullbacks who can attack, but not defend, but it's not okay to play a winger who is more useful when it comes to defending than attacking.

Anyway, Pepe can be useful in attack. He may not have the technical ability, but he moves well off the ball to move the opposition about and create space for teammates.

I'm not saying Pepe is a particularly good player or than he should be starting for Juve. He just gets a bit too much criticism at times.

Smacked the ball across the pitch in our own half and conceded a throw in, that and his yellow were quite irritating. He's improved though, off the ball runs are showing signs of being intelligent.
