Who was it that said "he rook invisible to a whole new level"? :lol2: He actually did yesterday, it was ridiculous to "see" him play the entire 90 minutes.

Word.

I jumped into the match after 25 minutes, by the time the match was over I still didn't know Padoin was playing..

This guy is something special.
He's so invisible that he can make opponents stop attacking from his side so he can be still invisible.

I mean Peluso on the left = permanent threat from Celtic crosses etc. Padoin on the left = whole side is under invisibility cloak.

I think conte was very sincere to him when he bprught him...

somethign in the lines of "listen... not everyone can get the spotlights.... and every team needs someone who eats bench and do his best when called upon..and thats what i want for you"..

or something in those lines

This is why we sign Italians from Serie A who know their role and don't complain. It's not "wasted money" when you can have backups that integrate with the team and won't shit themselves when they have to actually play.

I hate when people complain about Padoin, Giach, Peluso, Pazienza, etc. They are BACKUPS. Sure, you can collect all the money we paid for them and come up with a 15M player but that player won't do nearly as good for the TEAM as the collection of depth these guys offer. This is how you build a TEAM.

Not to take anything away from Padoin's performance, but the score line certainly helped.

I'd take a stronger starting XI than stronger backups.
