Should Beppe Marotta be sacked? (3 Viewers)

Should Marotta be sacked?

  • Yes - his signings are an embarrassment to the club

  • No - he just got us to the Scudetto and we should see where that takes us

  • WTF - When did we suddenly inherit aching ladyparts like interisti?

Do not fire him. See how this season goes and then decide if to renew. Starting over with a new management is always a traumatising experience, especially when they want to overhaul the whole squad.

LOL.Bayern fired Nerlinger and hired Sammer and they're continuing with the same squad except for that one blockbuster signing they just made.

And i agree with what Lion says.Fair assessment.

We don't have to overhaul the squad, coz Conte will still be around to oversee the team that was built. Its just that he needs somebody a little more ambitious by his side to help him bring in a certain calibre of player coz I refuse to believe Conte asked for Bemdtner.

Uhm, at this point of time yes I want him fired.

But in all fairness, we just won the Scudetto he made 3 great signings for our squad, signed some great youngsters but failed to sign a top striker in a static market where clubs didn't want to sell.

I think he should be given another chance. Or at least see how this season fairs out.

Who do you want to replace him?
I liked the work Marino did with Napoli. I like their current DS too. I was a big fan of Palermo's Sabatini who is coming into his own at Roma, made some descent signings, but as things stand I think Daniel Prade has shown the most promise this summer.

I don't wanna see him fired, nor do I think it's a possibility, but I wouldn't be in favour of us renewing his contract next June.

Its just naive to think that a 'squad overhaul' is going to happen if Marotta is replaced by another DS..This is Conte's team not Marotta's.
Um, the DS is Conte's boss. So if the DS decides that he wants more say in the squad and signings, that's how it will be. It's just that Marotta has given Conte the room to work. Another DS may not.

He's not a LWB, he's was brought to rotate with the MF, Conte tried him there and it's working for now.

Does not mean that he got us a LWB. He didn't get us a CF.
He's been playing as LWB the last two games, and he's been playing great.
