you misunderstood, these are the 23 official languages of the EU.

The European Commission has three working languages, though: English, French and German.
Okay, that answers my question a little more thoroughly.

Ok, I'll ban Turk just for the fun of it.
I want to have fun also, can you ban Remad and Marcus Ellion on your way? :)
And Seven too, just for the fun of it.
:lol2:

Great exchange, boys...

That means the problem would lie elsewhere, seeing how most Americans, even at an adult age, score lower than a lot of Western Europeans. A possibility would then be that Americans tend to be lazier. And that's something I'd prefer not to say.
Americans are lazy. No doubt about that. Credit cards and automobiles have spoiled them.

Credit cards and automobiles are a whole other issue. My wife is over at the public market picking up some fava beans for a dinner she's preparing, and some woman next to her tells her that she likes them but they're "too much work".

Fava beans. We're not talking about churning your own butter or anything, just peeling fava beans. It's too much work. WTF?! :wth:

We have supermarkets selling pre-packaged salads because taking apart a head of lettuce is supposedly too much work. We have apples that are sold in plastic bags, pre-sliced and coated with a chemical preservative -- because slicing an apple is too much frigging effort.

If there's a definition of lazy, it's some fatass who cannot be bothered with the horrible labor conditions of peeling her own fava beans to eat something. Talk about a nation going soft.

I am honestly waiting for pre-chewed food to show up on store shelves next.

That means I was right. Because there is no difference between an American and a Belgian by birth, yet the American seems to be lazier as he gets older. That means the difference is located somewhere in society. If this is so, it's harder for an American to be educated, as he will be struggling with a society that looks to make him lazy.

Then again at least the USA is a country. From what I'm hearing, things don't look so good in Belgium. I left a civilised country and I'll be going back to a nation in political uproar with everyone throwing bullshit at people just because they don't speak the same language.

I'm glad to see that Belgium hands out sociology degrees based on thorough research of nationalistic work ethics, statistically rooted in a post made in an Internet football forum about a fat woman buying beans in a farmer's market in San Francisco.

Greg,

you know you were caught. You're not making any sense with that post. I didn't say Americans were lazy. You did. I didn't say so based on one example about a fat woman buying beans, you did.

So what is your reasoning then anyway: that Americans are ethnically lazy?

I really can't see how Greg's post about a lazy woman in a grocery store translates to education being more difficult to grasp in the US than in Belgium. As if Europe is some utopian hotbed of workmanship and can-do spirt where every man tries his hardest every day because gosh darn it, he should.
