Ive been to amstelveen and a tiny town near rotterdam called helloveotsluis. Loved the windmills and the people. I think its great that almost all of the dutch are gifted with a second language because of the english subtitiling on television.

Well its true! When you ask them about Malaysia they'll go "oh Malaysia this, malaysia that" which is correct but they dont try and fix our inner problems, the more important ones.

But I am truly proud of having mamak stalls in Malaysia. It's the best thing in the whole wide world.

In general of course....this doesn not apply to everyone.

• The driving system is like the USA and we have a lot of highways.
• Many don't follow traffic rules (speed limits, driving in your own lane, stop signs..etc), therefore it is chaos for beginers.
  
• People are very rude, unless they realize you are a relative of a friend or have ANY distant relationship with them.
• Our main dish is called "Kabsa" (components: Rich and Chicken) and we eat with our hands.

• People are very racist and superficial where having a nice car and a cool cell phone is what matters.

• Everyone from outside of Riyadh hates the city.

In other words, for most of those points, the Islamic teachings of how to deal with people are pretty much disregarded/ignored.

no offence dude but i consider myself lucky that my nationality isnt so complicated,my whole family is Libyan,but i've only lived there for the first 2 years of my life(thanks USA:groanthe rest of my life was in Britain 7 years,in Malaysia 3 and in the UAE 5.

Dude... Our usuall heath in Sweden in the summer is like 20 degrees, so when its like 25+ degrees I consider it hot... But hell, Sweden is a long country guess it depends where you live.

You call the weather perfect ? Sure we have our fair share of sun and rain but it can be extremely humid and hot But its all good

Fli, a mamak shop is quite hard to explain... First, a 'mamak' refers to an Indian Muslim and most indian muslims in Malaysia (in my area anyway) they open restaurants as their revenue for business. These restaurants sell Indian and Malaysian food, some even Western. It's not a 'classy' restaurant but it's not some damp either, it's a restaurant that fits EVERYONE - kids, teens, adults, grannies, the rich, the poor... Usually these restaurants have big screen TVs for football where people can sip their tea while watching football. Anyway, the restaurants are usually open for 24 hours a day, so these 'restaurants' are not merely restaurants actually.. Does that make sense ? It's a place where people watch football, meet up, hangout and have casual conversations.. sort of a place where everyone is equal and are friends with each other.

Sounds weird I know, but if you do come to Msia, you'd understand.

In Solo, Indonesia :

- Solo lies between Mount Lawu (eastern) and Mount Merapi (western)
- People called it "Traditional City" or "The city that never sleep"..whatever, but unlike Jakarta, our city is not big.
- Most people are still living in Javanese culture. Still believe in myths sometimes
- We speak Javanese and Indonesian language.
- Traditional public transportation called "becak"
- Good food and it's cheap.
- We love tea very much (lemon tea after work is my fav :lick: )
- Motorcycle is the fav transportation. Most people have motorcycle at least one.
- We're teach to respect older people.
