What exactly has that got to do with it... you stated only the british and aussies did it... when the facts are 2 billion out of a world population of 5.8 billion do indeed drive on the left.... why those countries choose too is completely irrelevent
take india out of that and you'll have less than a billion. still a lot, cant argue with that.
aussie and brit thing was only a joke. everyone went around saying we drive on the left. to me it seemed ridiculous because its only natural that you drive that if youre not associated with former british empire in any way.

and that the fact that thoseare/were colonies/commonwealth countries sayd a lot. when youre ruled by a country the rules of that country are applied and when its gone it'd be rather silly to drive on the other side just because the british did opposite.

Tuvalu for example, has a population of about 6000. I wonder how many of them own cars!
Its actually around 12000 but thats neither here nor there....

You will actually find many of these countries have a high population of drivers as there is alot more freedom to drive... eg. no licence, no mot etc etc.... you can jus get in some death trap old banger and drive to your hearts content

But then again, how is organisation of roads on these places? I doubt tuvalu is up to road safety standards.

Tuvalu itself is tiny anyway, it is the worlds smallest country in terms of sq km.

You should look up your history as to whether we installed driving on the left... you will be surprised.

Why... okinawa did.

Plus if your gojnna look at it that only x colonies drive on the left you have to see that the majority of europe only drive on the right due to napolean... so wheres the difference?

I fail to see where road safety comes into the conversation.

No its not.. the smallest official contry is a single man who gained independance from wales for his family and farmland... cant remember what he called the country... look it up

nooo way!!

Is there an article on this? i have to see. :D

road regulation rules comes in because of organisation. If most of the roads are dirt anyways, most people wouldnt care about driving on the right side or not.

Yes that is completely true... it has happened in several countries but as far as i know his was the only one to actually survive.

Use google or the like or check british news websites archives... There has been programs about it on tv many times and even 2 dramas based on his story in the last year

Im sorry but that has no relevance at all... the question is who drives where not whether those people abide by that... if its safe to do so or anything else, jus those countries whose law states they drive on that side... all those countries listed have laws that state that they must drive on the left

Fair enough. I cant argue with that.
