Is it true what the movies portray, as in being able to get breaks from homework and class if you play for the team?
Yea! For playing soccer i got out of school early twice a week. For away games when we have to take the bus i got out an hour early and for home games 30 min early. We have our own super-turf field with lights. My school is really rich :D

Fliakis you would have nothing to be scared about, I might moan about it but I moan about everything. England is a great place to live, I couldnt live anywhere else.

In Benin City:

* We drive on the right
* Have a fantastic road network, but no roads to go with it
* Traffic jams last for hours when it rains
* Have huge parties on almost every street on Fridays
* Food is real cheap and we like to eat with our hands
* You can get away with anything with a N50 to the cop
* Public transportation is efficient
* Bus drivers blare music loud enough to restore hearing to the deaf
* Have a respected ruler in the Oba, whose word is law
* Very unfriendly people, unless you can speak the lingo
* It is usual for the furthest police station to respond to an emergency
* It is not uncommon to find a chicken at a t-junction in a pot (dead, of course)

I think movies portray a lot about the culture of the people who act them.

Bad food,
Bad weather,
Dodgy accents,
Scallies everywhere,
Immigrants everywhere,
Teenage pregnancy everywhere,
Crime, drukeness and junkies everywhere,
Homeless people asking you for 20p everywhere,
Hundreds and thousands of pigeons flapping around,
But they have me, and that is some cool shit right there .

What exactly has that got to do with it... you stated only the british and aussies did it... when the facts are 2 billion out of a world population of 5.8 billion do indeed drive on the left.... why those countries choose too is completely irrelevent
