Riyadh, Saudi Arabia

In general of course....this doesn not apply to everyone.

  • The driving system is like the USA and we have a lot of highways.
Many don't follow traffic rules (speed limits, driving in your own lane, stop signs..etc), therefore it is chaos for beginers. So ?
People are very rude, unless ?you they? realize you are a relative of a friend or have ANY distant relationship with them.
Our main dish is called "Kabsa" (components: Rich and Chicken) and we eat with our hands.
People rarely line-up orderly in a line.
Public transportation is terrible. Most people have cars.
We either arrive too early or 5 minutes late for meetings.
People are very racist and superficial where having a nice car and a cool cell phone is what matters.
Except in supermarkets, prices are always negotiable.
A lot of places to eat and places to shop.

In other words, for most of those points, the Islamic teachings of how to deal with people are pretty much disregarded/ignored.

Thats the only chocolate, along with cadburys caramel.

Add rolo's to the combination too.

Cola is also like water in america. Its goddamn everywhere!
The amount of coca cola i drink is going to kill me before im 20 :D
At lunch at my school it is cheaper to buy a can of it than a bottle of water, no wonder everyone is so large (also why they play baseball, which involves very little excersize)

yesterday i discovered an amazing new drink here. first they had red bull, then they came out with "double size" energy drinks with 2 grams of taurine. well yesterday i found, and drank, a triple energy drink. 3 grams of taurine in a can! amazing!

I love the one that comes in a blue package and has a white something on the inside

The nutty ones kick ass. They also come out with a special one around christmas time which is really really good.

Of course, the only other alternative to milka and lindt here is haribo. Or a supermarket varation of it. We also got vanilla coke a year after the world had it :groan:

Speaking of american sports, we had a phase in our school were we played American football at breaktime.

its amazing how little skill it requires. you gotta catch the ball right and be able to run quick.

Try having that as your only candy alternative to chocolate. I dread the sight of it now.

they even have joined with the supermarket and made a whole new brand. Its awful how widespread they are

Is it true what the movies portray, as in being able to get breaks from homework and class if you play for the team?
