I have told you before I am not a fan of Ranieri but someone has got to defend him.

What are you so mad at anyways? The way we play? the results? the players being played?

Unlike you I do not think this is anywhere near a good team let alone squad and if I was gonna pick a seriea team let alone world team only Buffon would get into my team.

Even though I do not like Ranieri as a manager, I try to cut him some slack as he has an aging team that has no pace and it would be a miracle for them to win midweek matches after playing over the weekend.

How would you feel if you were a Roma fan and see your team lag behind Inter Milan with the calibre of players they have and see your manager take off Vucinic when he was playing very well to bring on Cassetti?

If Ranieri had the tools and was misbehaving then I would have castigated him but though he is screwing up with his selections sometimes, he had done well whether I like him or not.

I have seen many managers including the revered Lippi make strange decisions like Legrottaglie as a midfielder in a key Cl tie against Depor

Or playing an unfit Dp as a lone striker with Nedved supporting him against Barcelona at home. How about when we were leading seriea with Trez and Di vaio having a great parnership till Lippi decided that Dp had to play and from then on we just lost the plot?

A Lot of managers misuse players lets face it as the likes of Micolli and Maresca were not given a fair time here.

Jose Mourinho is my fave managers but he used to make some strange decisions and yes he used to bail himself out but thats partly cos he had the tools.

I am not defending Ranieri just for the heck of it, i am defending him cos I feel he ahs done a very good job with what he has.

I have seen you say you want Birindelli at left back. Birindelli? come on! there is no chance in hell that he would do a better job than Molinaro. If he cannot cross with his right foot on the right win what chance has he got on the left and since when did he start to go forward with impunity?

What is Ranieri doing wrong that is pissing you guys off? And please do not say he is not playing Tiago as he is not a good player. Being good in Ligue1 does not count as Didier Zokora shone there and he is absolute shite. No offence to Ligue1 lovers

I agree with you about the limited resources he has at hand.What is he supposed to do if molinaro is the only left back on the team and the other options aren't showing any promise in their original positions.

Just like you said managers do things that don't make any sense, i've seen that along the years with some great managers.

I called for more consistency from him and he was consistent. That same midfield destroyed Roma and Udinese, but still couldn't create one single chance. I guess i am calling for more consistency from him in regards to valuations and preparations for the games.

When he is up to speed with the league and I mean when he is fully match fit then he would be an asset but I dont think putting him alongside Zanetti, Nocerino or those kind of players is favourable.

He needs to be played alongside a lazy ass talented creative player as he would bring a lot of energy to our team

Just put Sissoko in Milan to replace Ambrosini, with Pirlo and Seedorf next to him, where his only job will be to win balls, and i bet everything i have that Sissoko will be considered as one of the best 3 DMC's in the world.

In order one team to work well, every player needs to have a specific task and he has to be used to playing that match after match.
In our midfield every single match, due to injuries or suspensions, everyone is doing a different job.
Palladino plays once on the left, once on the right, once in attack. Camo plays on the right flank one match and in the center the next match.
Sissoko will have purely defensive tasks one match, and he'll have to be more involved in attack in the next match because it's different if we play with 1 or with 2 DMC's.
Salihamidzic plays RB on Wednesday, MR on Sunday and you suddenly see him in the center the next Sunday.
Del Piero is a trequartista one match, support striker the next match. Nocerino plays DMC for 50 minutes and MR for the next 40 minutes.

How are we supposed to work like a clock ?

I saw reply of the match,this morning, and yes , we did not play as we could , maybe due to game which we had few days ago, or cos morale was low recently, or maybe cos we expected referee to be on our side more than usual.

I was disappointed with Pala, he was selfish on a moments, and maybe that is why he was feeling isolated at certain times. Sissoko was OK, with few wrong passes and few tackles, but you could see trough out whole game that he was very careful and cautions , so i imagine he is still tense and getting it used to play in seria a. DP ,Pala, Nedved , Camo had more wrong passes than Momo if you really count. I strongly believe Sissoko will be one of important players for us next season. In regards to Molinaro, this guy gives a lot in defense as well offense , and im sure he will do better next season and i have also faith in him..He improved a lot, but I was disappointed with Nocerino..Don't know why he plays last 4-5 games at such a low level..Maybe just a pressure since he heard about Momo..Chiellini and Legro were OK, and Zebina looked tired.
Anyway it was game without fight and spirit like we used to see..

Ok, what do you want me to say, that before game we saw line up including Nocerino and Brazzo, but some of you even than were happy.

When we found out that Zebina and Sissoko would play insted , we were over the moon as on a paper that was probably the best formation we could have.
In 4 days apart there in not much thinkering to do, especially after broken morale with Regina, and considering some old players we have in squad they, did as much as they could do..not to forget Zanetti who was suspended and who is our back bone in M.
I did say Nocerino's last 4 games was not up to standard, well bellow actually, and only other available option was to field Tiago..
Why CR did not used him, i will not try to guess...

Few people said here that Pala should stay longer as he missed chance of scoring cos of offside position but would boost his confidence etc, but watching the game , Nocerino was 3 minutes already waiting to get introduced before that even happen..
Why no Tiago, and why we did not played well as we should, we should blame on everyone, including Ranieri..

One of my fellow juventino and my whole family said it was hard that they couldn't say anything about the match, so I expected something great, and than I got to see something like this. What the hell was that?! It was an embarrassing performance and Sissoko was the worst player on the field.
