When you drop a 2 goal lead in the space of 5 minutes for the 2nd time in a month, there should be something wrong!!! yeah?!!! where is the coach responsibility?!!!
and stop talking about defenders. why didnt we concede during the first 73 minutes?!! huh?
its not a matter of arrogance, its more of being realistic...
if they players lose their heads, then the coach should wake them up:tdown:
Perhaps, but the coach can't be responsible for - as Angela said - the arrogance of the players. And yes, a defender who's solid for 73 minutes, only to relax and make a mistake, has been poor.

And cool down with the exclamation marks. Do you yell this much in real debates as well?

Almost every player we have isn't motivated enough to wear the Juventus jersey. The exceptions are Nedved, Del Piero and Buffon, who have all been excellent. The others have rollercoaster form.
Even Del Piero, Nedved and Buffon have had their ups and downs this season. I'd also give more credit to C. Zanetti than anyone else.

Obviously the most blatant issue is with regards to defence, or lack there of. You sit on your ass for a transfer window when your problems are staring you in the face, this is what you get.

Absolutely. I'm sure the conversation between Secco and Grygera's agent went a little something like this:

*Secco tentatively dials the phone number*
"H-h-hello?"

Agent: "Yes?"

Secco: "Would it be possible to...to.. well you know... maybe get Grygera NOW?"

Agent: "Haha... No :)"

Secco: "Ok .... bye"

Another sad day, another frustrating result,
that felt almost like a defeat, or worse...
there are no excuses, this is not the first time that smth like that happened,
DD is by no means innocent,i dont understand the tolerance towards him,
we ve seen much better coaches and tolerated much less in the past,
our high hopes are betrayed,
if he cant handle serie B (teams) with serie A material, how would we expect him to handle serie a Teams next year?
This doesnt look good guys,
the team has lost determination by the time we reached the top,our tactics didnt change, the only thing driving our team forward, was our champions determination and quality,(i said that before but it is now more obvious than ever!!)
we are not like a lion between seeps,we have the mentality of a serie b team now,
we are pleased with this result,
it is a collective error and everybody has responsibility.
We are official in a crisis and i m sorry we didnt managed to lose today,
because we can still refuse to accept and realise that,
if we concede the first position we (might) wake up and press forward before it will be too late, luckily for us serie b teams are very competitive between them and lose points way to easy and often, we might not lose the train to serie A but we might install this mentality in our core.
And have illusions, No! this condition wont go away by it self,
we have to make some changes,
we couldnt win a much much more inferior team for a third consecutive time?
so what?
we conceded 2 goals in five minutes?
so what?
our subs are not good enough to be included in a serie b team even as subs and we signed nobody to help us when we had the chance?
so what?

we are still in the first place!!
thats our current mentality, every serie b team would be happy to be in our shoes now,
BUT WE ARE JUVENTUS!!!! we shouldnt!!
we cant be like that! this is a bad joke!

DD reminds me so much of Crap,
Crap's squads always suffered the winter break,
Crap's teams had no decent subs,
Crap's formations had no creativity and 2DMs,
Crap's formations had no flexibility,
Crap had no solutions to confront a crisis,
Crap could not face teams equipped with similar material,
the only think Crap had was the best defence in the world...
and that was not his fault,
IMO it is essential we will remove DD by the end of the season,
we cant handle our future and let this man to make our future investments,
he still has a great deal of coaching to learn,
he doesnt learn from his mistakes that fast, he has no exp we could take advantage of
and we cant trust "noob" Secco to make the right choices for him either...
How many times do we have to under-perform to wake us up?

After we were comfortably up 2-0 into the second half, I thought I would come here and just throw out some positives and negatives about the game, and our team.

Now that my idea was blown out of the water by a 6 minute fiasco of errors, I would much rather vent my frustrations with this team, and how, as I've been saying since October, that promotion is in NO WAY a guarantee...

Lets start with the defence. As a whole, it is very shaky. Every time Vicenza came on an attack, our guys looked weak, and disorganized. Every damn time !!! Things got worse when Legro was brought into the game, as I was having flashbacks of his miserable displays of the 2003-04 season. He was 100% responsible for the second Vicenza goal, being completely out of position, and no where to be found. He doesnt belong on our team. Piccolo is young, and inexperienced... but can we afford on-the-job training(mistakes) right now, in such a delicate situation ?? Chellini is being played out of position, and Biri certainly isnt the answer at RB.

My next beef is with our set-piece defense. Do we actually practice this in training ?? I would say no, because it is nothing better than awful !!! We looked like a bunch of circus clowns on every set piece...all we were missing was the makeup !!!

Of course, most of my blame for our misfortunes goes to our illustrious coach DesCHUMPS....this guy isnt qualified enough to lead this team, and he is proving it everytime we blow a lead, or look mediocre against poor teams. It is his job to have these guys MOTIVATED and ready to PLAY 90 MINUTES, and make the correct substitutions according to game situations. He is failing MISERABLY !!!

Our guys came out and played the first half, and part of the second, and just disappeared !! This is where COACHING comes in...case and point- Palla had a good first half, and even scored a goal. Even before we scored the second goal, he became a bit anonymous....wouldnt that have been a good time to bring BOJINOV in ?? I was thinking this, and even more so when Vicenza scored their first goal. That would have been the right substitution. It didnt happen....

Part of the blame also goes to Coboli and Secco....we needed defenders NOW, and they are too busy looking past this season, and planning for Serie A next season. They are going to look pretty fucking stupid if we dont get out of B this season. I dont feel this defense is good enough to get us out of B, and our management team should have realized this as well....splashing out some money for a defender or 2 in January would have been as good as buying an insurance policy

Buffon- made some great saves...couldnt be blamed for the defensive mishaps

Biri- we need a RB

Piccolo- too young and inexperienced for B

Chellini- did what he could playing out of position

Balza- a mixed bag...we need more consistency

Marchionni- he isnt ready to be a starter, IMO

Zanetti- solid in the midfield, but needs a better partner in the middle

Paro- I dont know what everybody see's in this guy...he isnt that good.
IF we make it to A, he would definitely be a bench player

Neddy- always solid, and all over the field...assisted on both goals

DP- quiet for much of the game, and then scores a goal

Palla- he showed that he should be playing as a striker, not a midfielder.
His goal was good, his positioning during the game good, but disappeared
in the second half. Boji should have replaced him

Legro- I feel like throwing up !!!:yuck:

Camo- really didnt make a difference

Trez- not enough time to make a difference

DD- see above. The unemployment line beckons

I'm sure Vicenza's happy they got to sell the tickets.. TBH Serie B's starting to bore me guys. I know they say the road is long and all, but Juventus shouldn't encounter too many difficulties from here on. TV coverage has been a big blow for me personally as well. I tried to follow as much as possible, but it's nearly impossible.. I still want to go watch them live though, if it turns out to be possible
its when people talk out of their ass without watching the game that pisses me off...

Everyone who thought this season would be a walk in the park are terribly WRONG. I have watched enough of our games to realize that we are in the fight of our lives to get out of Serie B, and NOTHING is assured !!!

Deschamps: “You can’t just throw away two points like that”

“We played some good football right up until the second goal, but for the umpteenth time this season, we suffered a physical drop. Credit has to go to Vicenza, they never stopped believing, but the blame lies with us. We lost our concentration and their first goal really rattled us, it’s like we thought they’d already drawn level”. It was an aghast Didier Deschamps who faced the cameras following his team’s 2-2 draw with Vicenza. Two goals up and with less than an half to play, the Bianconeri let the home side back into the game and return home with just a solitary point. “After going two goals up, you can’t just throw away two points like that. I can’t blame the defence, even if the players aren’t all at 100% - Chiellini was returning after a month on the sidelines, Legrottaglie three months - it’s up to the rest of the team to help out. I’ll talk to the team on Monday as we can’t carry on like this. We just couldn’t close out the result today, we sat back too deep and let them attack us. Our attitude is all wrong when we take the lead, it’s like the players think the game is already in the bag. We really need to start winning away from home if we’re going to open up a gap at the top of the table”.

WOW, DD finally decides to talk to the team!!!:faq1:

Yea sure, he cant blame the defence, because its his fault:D
he talks like a fan, not like a coach,
who should help the team? the, wingers, the DMs?
the current ones are not good enough?
the formation isnt tight enough?
Then do smth!!what are you waiting for?
You are the coach, the only one able and responsible to act!
The team conceded? what did he changed?
what was the result?

The best defense is a good offense.

It never fails... once you take the foot off of the pedal, bad things happen & today proved that once more. The game isn't over once you get a decent lead. Teams aren't going to just roll over & die.

DD is easy to point the finger at, but it's the players who stopped pressing forward. I highly doubt DD told them to do that. The mentality must change.

Serie B jus got a little more interesting today now that we share the top with Napoli. Let us hope this is the last time Juve has another mental blunder.

Last season we had a defense we could count on to win matches when we secured a lead. We do not have that luxury this season -- it is painfully obvious.
