Palladino: “We simply have to improve away from home”

Raffaele Palladino might have scored the Bianconeri’s opener against Vicenza this afternoon, but as the striker revealed after the game, it was a pyrrhic personal victory. “It’s all about the team. Of course I’m pleased with the goal but it makes no difference, we simply have to improve away from home. We can’t just give away the second half like that”. Palladino signalled the areas where it went wrong today. “We played well in the first half but we made far too many errors in the second. It’s a real shame to throw away a two goal lead and maybe we’re guilty of relaxing a little when we were ahead. The drop was more to do with our head than our legs. We ran right until the death so the blame can only lie with the attitude of each of the eleven players out there”.
He got that right!

You're putting the words in his mouth. There have been plenty of advantages with being relegated, but that does not mean that there were more disadvantages.

Hilarious. The man's responsible for putting Juventus at the top of the table, even with a nine point deficit. He draws away againt a decent side, with his first choice defenders injured, and you want his head? Rebel's right, some of you are far too arrogant.
thats a good point but this shouldnt be happening

Soley down to the players when they blow a 2 goal lead. Palladino himself said it wasn't down to their legs, but their heads, as they got complacent. In any case, this DD gossip is totally uncalled for, and very shortsighted.

personal message to juve and its players

it ain't how hard you hit; it's about how hard you can get hit, and keep moving forward. How much you can take, and keep moving forward. That's how winning is done.

some final words - Either we heal as a team, or we will die as individuals

So Didier's responsible when Juventus loses, but not when they win? Brilliant reasoning.
I haven't said after a single one of our wins that it's because of Didi.
I have, however, earlier stated that it seems like he's doing a good job. But with the tactical mistakes he made today he pissed me off. He should be slapping players upside the ears but I don't think he's that kind of person. This is Juventus, not some bullshit, we should AT LEAST learn from our mistakes.

And like I've posted earlier. Away from home we've only won TWICE since October and it should've been only once because Zalayeta never scored against Bologna in the 1-1 draw.

We're not playing well and we haven't been all season. We have the players to do very well but we're mediocre at best. Thankfully, that is enough to gather a few wins in this league.

My original post, which you replied to earlier, was directed at someone who wanted to get rid of DD.

It is true however that we're not playing well, though we haven't really played well the past four years. As long as we get the results, it's fine.

Perhaps the same could be said of the players - scoring 2 goals & then thinking they don't have to do anything more. As Palladini said: -
...... maybe we’re guilty of relaxing a little when we were ahead. The drop was more to do with our head than our legs.
Its easy to make up a 2 goal deficit. You need 3 or more to make sure you win. It only after the 3rd or 4th goal that the opposition lose heart & their heads "go down".

When you drop a 2 goal lead in the space of 5 minutes for the 2nd time in a month, there should be something wrong!!! yeah?!!! where is the coach responsibility?!!!
and stop talking about defenders. why didnt we concede during the first 73 minutes?!! huh?
its not a matter of arrogance, its more of being realistic...
if they players lose their heads, then the coach should wake them up:tdown:

In 2002 when Davids was playing shit Moggi & Co forced him to sit in the freaking stands! for months! That's how you run a football club!

Almost every player we have isn't motivated enough to wear the Juventus jersey. The exceptions are Nedved, Del Piero and Buffon, who have all been excellent. The others have rollercoaster form.
