I agree with the Didi-part but I still think most of our players should be slapped in the face several times or molested by a really fat hairy fella named Frank. But anyway, good post. Things like these need to be said.
cheers mate!
and yeah i also think the players need waking up be it assault or rape im fine either way!

When most people say offense is the best defense... that usually doesn't mean sending the defense forward. It means having the midfield & forwards keeping the ball away from the opposition so our D doesn't have to do much work.

Juve's problem today was that the offense took their foot off the gas & let the oppostion come right at them. You'll get burnt everytime.
:agree: After that second goal they eased up & this put unnecessary pressure on the defence.

before you ppl go on shooting deschamps(im not his biggest supporter) but we are talking about the same coach who took monaco to the CL final by eliminating chelsea and real madrid, also we are top of the league startin with -9points(although not the toughest of leagues)
anyway i know DD made some crucial mistakes but not being able to field a consistent 11 every game doesnt help, and finally our defence really sucks,we need defenders big time.we can cope this year but next year its gonna be different.
grygera is a good step, hopefully we can get barzagli as well

i dont understand this stupid tactician, hes come out and said that hes angry and this shouldnt happen yet he still relies on the defensive crisis as a get out clause... IF THE DEFENCE IS IN CRISIS THEN BUY SOME DEFENDERS!!! he went thrhough the whole of january using that stupid excuse, then he says the team keeps changing its style.... IF YOU CAN SEE THE TEAM IS CHANGING STYLE CHANGE IT BACK, WHY THE HELL DO YOU HAVE A JOB???!!! Dont even get me started on his substitutions as for the whole of the season i cant remember him making one change which has made a difference hes so incapable of making that decision which can change a game.

Some of the blame must rest with the players however because they ease off when we have a 'comfortable' lead and allow our opponents to test our weaknesses, at the same time its DD's job to motivate them in the first place and inform them that a football game lasts 90 minutes.

Players win the first half, coach wins the second...

Yesterday our players proved they are superior and our coach proved he is inferior
agreed
DD should've never played Legrottaglie instead of Chiellini(what was he thinking??)
he was not thinking of anything :D
me too , he is the only coach to lead juve back to the top

It was a great game by Juventus, we cannot hold on a 2-0 lead anymore.

Deschamps proved he is a great tactician and we will have great success with him in Serie A.

I´d like to hear some excuses now, please. Anyone?

Oh, be still, my crowing friend,

excuses not needed, We'll all see them in Seria A next season: may DD be given the resources to rebuild the side, and the time.

Trezeguet: “All behind Deschamps”

After their showing against Vicenza this weekend, the wave of criticism that emerged in some of this morning’s papers signalled a less than positive start to the week for the Bianconeri. Not only did these journalists round on the team’s performance at the Stadio Menti on Saturday, but there were also intimations of a dressing room split, antipathy towards Didier Deschamps and a lack of effort on the field. The articles were also punctuated by a series of claims about the private lives of certain players.

With this in mind, the group decided to have their say at the end of today’s training session, nominating David Trezeguet as spokesman. Here’s what he had to say to Juventus Channel on behalf of the dressing room. “None of us were happy about what appeared in certain newspapers this morning and that’s why I’m here to clear things up. We’re aware that we haven’t been on top of our game lately and that we’re not playing the type of football we’re capable of, but we are still top of the table. That’s why I want to say to all our amazing fans that there’s no need to worry, we need you to stand by us now more than ever. Since August, we’ve all known that our sole objective is to get back into Serie A and to that we need your help”.

It wasn’t so much the criticism for recent performances that provoked the consternation of the team, but the erroneous reports of a dressing room split. “One person wrote that all of us angry, especially with the boss. In actual fact we’re all very much behind him, myself more than anyone seeing as I played alongside him in the national team. My place on the bench on Saturday? I was drained both physically and mentally when I got back on Friday, seeing as I’d just played Argentina, the team closest to my heart. I reiterate that the group is more united than ever and we’re all pulling in the same direction”.

The intrusion into the private lives of certain individuals was just the final straw. Claims on Saturday that Del Piero is soon to be a father were followed up today by reports on the alleged playboy lifestyles of some of the other players. David hit back. “The media can criticise us for our performances on the pitch but no one has the right to bring up our private lives. Everyone of us has a family, many have children and no one should be criticising us for our behaviour off the field. We see it as a huge lack of respect which will no longer be tolerated”.

I do not buy this, because:

1st the team is loosing points, which applied to Juventus + Seria B equation does not form a happy dressing room.
2nd there is still the creeping uncertainty who goes and who stays next season. As already confirmed by the management we are heading for a market attack as we enter Seria A and therefore selling players is a must as well.
3rd Trezeguet is just the guy cashing big for us. IT is him that will bring 15-20 mln. pounds within our budget next year or could be a good trading coin.
And last but not least, DD is surely NOT the man who will be in charge all by himself on the transfer politics of the club. If I may add he will have no word there. If a player that has been followed from more than one year(before DD) is spotted free we are taking him. Besides we already signed some new players and been connected with a few old-timers (being it free or not).
:agree:
So I believe it is just a show for coverage of the leak. And the truth is that the bench start to dislike DD as their efforts get wasted by his mistakes. Something completely normal for a team with such a pressure like Juventus. Our management just do the best to cover up - I suppose Trezeguet part is integral to the plan (come on you do not honestly believe him chosen by the players). :disagree:

That actually makes too much sense...

Everyone is frustrated, and the club has to put someone in front of the microphone. Player's choice? That would always be Del Piero, Buffon, or Nedved for all the reasons that we love them. It doesn't make sense for Trezeguet to talk. He didn't even play and everyone knows he didn't play because he was in the big midweek friendly. However, some drama and instability is normal in a club as big as Juventus. We should be grateful that our drama isn't as dramatic as Real Madrid's or Barca's. :smoke:
