We played a good game, and us only scoring once with so many chances became almost annoying. The linesmen sucked some serious cock in this game...too many wrong offsides calls, mostly against us
With us scoring the first goal, Verona had to attack, and we play better when teams attack us, rather than the opposition setting up the defensive shell, hoping for a lucky counter-attacking goal, or a draw at the very least
my ratings and summaries-
Buffon 6: only had to make a save or 2
Zebina 6 : decent game with no mistakes
Legrottaglie 7: my M.O.M. he hasnt ever played so well in a Juve jersey
Boumsong 6: by reading some of the posts here, you would think this guy is the second coming of Christ....he played a good game, compared to all the mistakes he's made all year. He OWED us this goal, for being at fault for so many against us all season
Chiellini 5.5: was ok on defense, but poor coming forward
Camo 6.5: I liked him in the center of the midfield...he controlled the ball well, showed good speed, and had a few decent setup passes
Marchisio 5.5: I'm not sold on him at all. He need a lot of improvement in all facets of the game before he can make it as a starter
Nedved 6: he was dangerous in the center of the mid, but his shots were all off today
Trez 5: a no show
DP 6.5: some nice moves, just missed on a nice shot, but sometimes hold the ball too long
Marchionni 7: he's got talent !! He makes good decisions, and has good ball control. Just missed on a crossing header from Neddy

Legro: everyone was praising Boumsong but this guy had a great game imo, shame he got injured.Didn't let anything get past him, whether it was in the air,one on ones or just covering the field. If he keeps up this form he will get his place in the squad next season.
Saying that i will give Boumsong credit as well as he did very well too.
Chiellini-Balza is really upstaging him in that LB position this season imo.Giorgio has almost no offensive abilities and in the defensive although he makes good challenges you could see a lot of them could be very rash and damaging when they don't need to.
He needs to improve his overall performances, and find that right balance between his play going forward and his defending.
Marchisio-He was playing his usual game when Gianni was next to him, but when the latter had to leave he had to pick up the defensive duties more and i dont think thats even remotely close to his game.
But thats his second game where he didn't perform up to his abilities imo. But i still think hes one of the best young players for us this season.
Marchionni-Hes getting his performances up to par these games. Improvement is always welcomed and i hope he builds up on those showings.
The advanced position suits him better than the left midfield role and thats fair cause some players' abilities are suited for some positions than others.And i guess we expect a lot from him to play in a different role.
Anyway we're coming back baby!
