Can Juve please sell "Badsong?"
To echo a little of what Jem83 wrote, I think Boumsong needs to learn how to play a full match. He can look good for 80 minutes of it, but it's that other 10 minutes that will kill you. If he can close that gap, he could be relatively solid for us ... even should we go to A.

it was a wonderful win, but I have concerns...

if our "stars" are injured throughout this season, I'm not too sure if our young guys can take the reins, and lead us to Serie A...at least that's what I was thinking after the first half

The second half saw a much more determined Juve, but we had too many problems in the final third of a weak Lecce defense

About the young guys-

I was very impressed with Balza today.....he showed speed, skill, and determination in the defense, and also coming forward

Boji had a shit first half (with some terrible passes), but made up for things in the second, with a screamer of a free-kick !!

I honestly thought that Paro and Marchisio were anonymous today...I wasnt impressed at all...not too sure what you guys were watching, but Boji single-handedly made the first 2 goals, and neither had any contribution to the third and fourth goal (Marchisio was subbed by then)

Palladino had damn near 100 chances before he finally scored one...he's young, but I believe he will improve his finishing

The veterans-

Camo and Nedved gave their all in the cause, as well as Biri

Boumsong is Thuram deviod of any skills...he is GUARANTEED to make at least 1 boneheaded play in every game, which usually leads to a goal against us....SELL THIS CHUMP !!!!

I am not going to sit here and get over-confident about promotion...I'm not too sure these young guys are ready to lead us to the promised land if the veterans are out for any period of time.

We played a poor Lecce team today, with an average offense, which by the way completely undressed our defense on their only goal (where was our defense, anyways ??), have a deplorable defense, AND went down a man in the second half...that, my friends is when we ran up the score

I'm not convinced yet.....

btw, boumsong is becoming a solid defender
Like I've said before, Boumsong will improve and prove everyone that he's not a waste of time nor money.

Reading Palladino's and Bojinov's declarations after the game, you can see what Alessandro Del Piero means to this team, what a great captain.
Del Piero is always up there when you need him.

I'm confident he'll performe even more..The kid got skills. And when I said that he'll make us forget someone called Zambo, i think i was pretty correct, though it's still early, but the most important thing is to have a juve heart, and thats what Balza got.

thanks for the reports everyone.

pathatic performance in the first 60 minutes of the game , but bojinov goals prooved that he got a lot of potential , paladino waited a lot of chances before scoring , decaglie goal also proove that this young player should play also

I have seen highlights from the game and I have seen some positive and negative things.

On the attack we looked very impressive creating loads of chances BUT we failed to score most of them

Bojinov has great movement and he should have scored another one should the referee hasn`t ruled for an incorrect offside.

Bojinov could become a really great player IMO he could become the best scorer in the world in the future

Boumsong is better than his Newcastle days but still I don`t like him and I think he is the main reason for most of our conceded goals (of course he is not the only one to blame...)
In the Lecce game he didn`t close down his defender and he should have anticipated that move.
as for our other defenders their anticipation also isn`t that great.

We should do a serious transfer campaign next season and replace our entire defence it is seriously bad!
Just think what Serie A teams would do to it and especially the big teams like Inter, Milan (they will be back) and Roma

Forza juve, great win and a huge confidence booster to our young players and especially bojinov.

Just a few points i would like to add

-Boumsong, he needs to forget about those silly things he does when hes the last defender. He got caught in possesion just a few seconds before the goal and it resulted in a one-on one situation. Then in the goal he gets beaten for pace where he shouldn't imo.
This kind of game could really harm a defender's confidence(something that he built since that Rimini game), he should stop doing things he doesnt have in the back and just kick the ball.We dont need dribblers in the backline.

-Balzaretti, great game especially at the back.Made some great tackles and one was a cannavaro like tackle which saved a promising situation for lecce.

-Bojinov, I said it when this thread was opened that he would score a hattrick. He was a little short but saved us single handedly.Lets hope he builds on this performance.

-Zeman, :D VAFFAnCULLO

Rai named Camoranesi our peggiori (worst player?), while in this match thread he seems like one of our best men? Odd..

Rai mistake or Italy still hates/underrates Camoranesi.

totally agree.. ure spot on on every comment... we played against a very week side which have been losing and conceding goals left right and center, and if it wasnt for there mistake on the first goals it would have been hard to turn the game around.... our difence ( which missed only chielliieni ) wasnt solid at all, which keeps me asking questions, even about an eventual serie a, however hte prob comes also from the midfield, where i think paro hasnt been playing that well for quite a while now and marchisio i hope he just had a bad day... palladino i think to much hype about him got to his head but i think he can improve alot and be important to juve, bojinov has to be more alertt, and he can turn out to be a great player as he showed us with his two goals..

i think that all this hype about the youngsters at juventus is just masking one clear situation, we definetely need around 5 decent signings for the serie a .. and im glad that didi was clear that there is a long way for these youngsters to go, because even if they are realy promising they have to buld gradualy into the team and not the team bulds gradualy on them

Juventus will approach the next match now in a very confident, positive frame of mind.

Our opponents are in a slump after a very good start. I'm looking for 3 points against Genoa next week and look forwatd to 2, possibly 3 players returning from suspension and injury.

Congratulations to Didier Deschamps for not being afraid to mine the Primavera talent at his disposal. It's wonderful to know we have such potential in the squad!

its not that didi did something so aamzing, he didnt have options so he had to field the youngsters he did.. its not that he chose the youngsters over other players, they were the only players availabe so i dont know whats so great about didi's choice of players yesterday
