No? He has potential but he has absolutelly no similarities to Trezeguet whatsoever, how you can even imagine him being a replacement for Trez is beyond me. He's playing well so far but Palladino has a long way to go to reach Trezeguet, DP's level.
:agree: there is no way that you can name a replacement for trez. yes palla played well the past 2 matches but vlatko is right, lets not jump on the palla bandwagon and praise him to overtake DT. :disagree::tdown: trezegol is a legend alongside DP and there is no way you can replace a legend folks

There's no way Palladino can be compared to Trez ATM. That would be silly and would make no-sense.

That said, Palladino looks like a young talented player that we need nowadays with us, a player who seems to be inlove with our club and thats the important thing...since he got the talent and the heart for Juve, then I'd say he has a great future.

We can all agree not to compare Palla with a legend like Trez...
But, what I really love about Palla, is that he got LOVE for this club, He is playing with his heart.. And for me, that is as importent as having talent..! So in this case, having them both is GREAT.. :)

I couldn't agree more. Palladino has blossomed well over the season, but he has a long, long way to go before achieving the historic greatness of the likes of Trez (despite Trez's current form).

And not to take anything away from Palla's performance yesterday, but watching the match later in the evening I couldn't help but notice that it wasn't so much the goals that were excellent -- it was the assists.

Balza's cross for the first goal was a real thing of long-distance beauty from the corner -- right on Camo's head. And I was even seeing Zebina make nice runs and even finish a few of them with dangerous crosses that we failed to connect on :)shocked2: ... yes, this was the same player against Fiorentina last April I said "couldn't cross in a game of checkers"). And of course, Del Piero was the assist master out there as a brilliant partner to Palla.

yeah i was impressed by the service provided as well. But palladino had a couple of good passes himself that other members couldn't put in the net.

Exactly. Not to mention that Palla's goals so far have been... good. Not great. Let's face it, he's shown nothing yet to suggest that he can score the kinds of goals that Trez has banged in for us. Not only have some of them been truly difficult, they've also been decisive. So for anyone to challenge Trez at this point (even DP who is ineffective in crunch games) is far fetched.

And Palladino himself said yesterday that he still doesn't deserve to replace David, and that he has to exploit his chances to play...

So, saying that Palla can replace Trez is denied by Palla himself...
