udinese arrived with their b-team for a midweek match. same goes for verona: they have one of the thinnest squad in the league, and they are only right to concentrate on the more important match, which is their only guaranteed sold out day during the season. i expect them to rotate heavily for the mid-week match.
Nice equation lol.

What Ronn said, needless to say.

lol pretty sure nobody wants to be next on the receiving end of a 5-0 and theres been a few such games lately. lazio and atalanta have been dishing out punishment on mediocre sides like milan
:agree:

They crush the mediocre rubbish, but only win 3-1 against the half-decent/average sides. :snoop:

For all the mediocre team who plays their lungs out against Juve, then they surely have big management problem.

The team should put target point for every opponent and they obviously should get 3 points against lower opponent. Against team in the same rank, they should target 1 or 3 points, this is the game they should give their lungs out to get 3 points instead of 1

Against bigger team, they should play more freedom and with some element of surprise aka nothing to lose. It will be win if they can snatch 1 point. They can introduce some young talents too. Whatever the outcome 1-0 or 5-0 will be no diff for them

If they can maximize points where they can that what make sure they are not relegated

Oh come on don’t be that guy.
It’s plausible that they choose to put less effort against Lazio since between us and Lazio the latter is in a better form. But no team wants to bend over. Come on!
Don’t be what guy?

You think they’re going to go full guns blazing against Lazio in a mid-week Serie A game, or conserve their energy against EVERYONES biggest game of the season at home on a Saturday night?

Yes I think they treat them more or less the same way. There might be a little more motivation to stop Juve, but bending over is such a strong phrase.
Don’t forget that the whole conversation was about whether or not a Verona midweek game is a good or bad thing for us.

who cares how fit or motovated Verona are, it shouldnt save them either way against the squad we have.

All the pressure is on Maurice to not bottle this with shitty ineffective tactics.

@Ronn you were right, verona won't rotate at all tonight. let's hope for a close match until the end, it might make our lives easier for the weekend.
Amrabat suspended so he'll be fresh against us.

Could be a tough game this, if they're able to recover physically.

They played a solid 3-4-3 or 3-6-1 off the ball against Lazio so they looked solid. We should be able to keep a clean sheet but our attackers will need to hustle off the ball because I can see them defending very well. Dybala needs to start.

So we are playing the team Lazio couldnt score against...
Let's hope that they are tired after this input.

There is also a chance that they can build on what they did against Lazio and force us into a tougher game. We'll see what happens
