Why are we slow and predictable? Did Sarri tell them to run slowly? Does he ask Pjanic to pass sideways all match?

Ok, we have fewer points, goals and concede more than last season but what were the second and third placed teams doing this time last year? Were they pressuring us like this year or what? Is Serie A quality better this year or not?
Serie A quality isn't necessarily better - we got worse. We had more points at the same point last season. We should still be winning Serie A comfortably, maybe not by 15 or 20 points, but there should be a healthy 6-9 point gap. We're allowing other teams to challenge us because we're losing games we normally wouldn't have lost in the past. We've already lost 3 games in Serie A this season, Lazio destroyed us twice, we have no clear game-plan, play like shit, leak goals, and the players look lost.

Some of the responsibility must fall on the players, but the majority is on the coach. He needs to devise a clear game-plan, talk to the players, motivate them, and ask the board to get him the players he needs/wants. The coach also needs to be adaptable and flexible, and be willing to adjust when things aren't going well.

Sarri is a pathetic excuse of a coach for a club like Juventus. Juventus are a top tier team - Sarri is not a top tier coach, far from it in fact.

I say it's bs. He just expresses his opinion here, nothing more.

The problem is of another kind IMO and nobody even scratched the surface here. The stomachs are full. That's it. It's very visible when the team for months looks slow and unmotivated, thinking they can win effortlessly. Notice the relaxation once they Ronaldo scores, the conserving energy mode is back on. This is ridiculous considering how hard life was for almost the whole first half.
I don’t disagree at all, but didn’t we change the coach to motivate the squad and ignite the fire in their belly? Or should we lose the scudetto for them to wake up? Also by this logic we should be very hungry in Europe and destroy our opponents.

If the coach keeps on repeating on every opportunity that the other teams have become stronger then what do you expect from the players and his boyz?

both, actually.

only that 91 point napoli did better than this inda, and lazio is by far the most effective 3rd placed team of the last couple of seasons.

we regressed, it's not even a question anymore. after 23 rounds:

above all, we have by far the weakest defense of the last 8 seasons. this is also the 3rd worse attack at this point of the season, performing above only the experimental conte team with estigarribia, elia, krasic & co, and the '15/16 season when we started the campaign with 12 points and a goal difference of 11:9 after 10 games. all this with by far the most expensive and highest earning juve team ever. so yeah, while the front runners became better, our defense fell apart, and our attack disappoints too. besides ronaldo, we don't have a regular goal scorer. 5-5 goals from the argies is meh. inda have 2 players on double figures, atalanta too, and even lazio has both caicedo and correa who scored more than dybala and higuain. (caicedo is underrated, he scored 8 goals in less than 800 minutes of playtime.)

what a meh season so far. let's hope inda's gonna inda and lazio will choke too. it's still in our hands.

We lost due to Pjanic error and nonexistant penalty and we bottled quite a few clear cut chances. It is just one of those days.
