Perhaps you are right Sadomin, but the aforementioned teams all emphasize attacking football and have a lot less to lose than us.

One of the few things I miss about being in Egypt. Unrivaled coverage of Serie A. I am sure they must be showing this if they are covering Roma vs Palermo.

No one over here watches the serie a... people here are usually fans of the year's CL winner. So if Liverpool won.. then everyone becomes a liverpool fan.. if barca won.. everyone becomes a barca fan..etc

Those who do watch some decent football watch the champions league only. ART is dominant over Jazeera here.... even showtime is (brings the EPL)

I'd like to see Nedved on the bench for this one, play De Ceglie instead and give Iaquinta a starting place against his former team. He should be motivated. What's the use of having him on the bench if CR never rotates his forwards. Besides, Amauri had a crappy game against Fiorentina. It's worth giving it a shot I think.
iq knows that in a month champions league will start...and then..ranieri will be forced to change the strikers ...we will have a sunday-tuesday-saturday-wednesday program so...let's not force this one with iq

Sorry Snoop, but I think that formation is quite archaic. It was great back in the 80's and early 90's when the pace of the game wasn't quite what it is today. I'd even go as far as to say that it is somewhat suicidal, not forgetting that it is too attack minded for our current coach.

Regarding the game against Udinese, I firmly believe we need to get the 3 points to keep the pressure on Inter, as I am pretty certain that Milan will win their encounter with Lazio to maintain the pressure on us.

I would like to see Giovinco starting this game, and Nedved along with possibly Del Piero getting some rest. Sissoko and Marchisio must start in the center of the park. I don't see us slipping up as Udinese are too fragile and low in confidence at the moment. 0-2 for Juve with Giovinco and Amauri grabbing the goals.
Sure they will help. Also the fullbacks. I am not fan of seeing our fullbacks go front, not all of them can do that. Zambrotta was amazing back then, it's hard to find players like him today, thou I love Zebina, I believe he is a great fullback.

If you ask me, my favorite formation doesn't have any fullbacks. I am a 3-man defense fan, call me a crazy but this is what I love:

No it is not any suicidal, actually you guys think anything non-defensive suicidal. Like Sadomin said, mid-table teams did, and worked very good with Genoa. And it works much better than Genoa here, because we have much better defenders, and much better DMs. But I know how coward today's football is, so I understand your worries..

My formation is not that offensive if you look carefully. I am not using full backs, fullbacks go forward all the time, and leave space behind. While I have 3 defenders stay behind who are enough to cover the whole defense along with the two dms. And also if you noticed, I used RM and LM, and not AML or AMR. I would choose physically good players at the sides, who will help the team defensively too. And I would start the attacks randomly, and mostly from the center (AM), with Giovinco.. I don't think this sounds any suicidal..

Those serie A teams that play 3-5-2 easily transform to 5-3-2 or they use 3 DMCs and 2 wingers.
Your formation, Snoop, is a 3-4-1-2 and is either a revolutionary formation that will change football (which makes you a genius) or it's the most stupid formation ever (which means you should change sports and start watching Baseball).

Our good old friend Tagliavento will be the ref for this game. Remember the 3 pk's(1 called back by linesman) in one game against us vs Cagliari?

Yeah. Foggia had his day that time.

Btw, Since Sissoko is returning, I think Zanetti would be the best option to play alongside him.

He was also the ref on Juve-Palermo earlier this season. The only match this year where one of our players was red carded (Sissoko).

Zanetti just came back so I'd rest him of this one and play Marchisio who's on a roll.
Somehow I agree. But If we look at it having both Marchisio and Sissoko both of them playing tough, fighting for each ball running a lot, defensively we'll be on top obviously, but offensively I'm afraid we are in-need of one of Zanetti/Tiago. Or else we'll see another scenario of Del Piero reversing back to the middle.
