Look at it like this, just cos we aint doing it in the C.L capello's now called a failure. Hes come in and won us already a scudetto and possibly a second. In the end he gets recognised for what he brings into the club and in Juventus' eyes thats trophies. Ok Neddy already come out and said we've got some kind of mental block when it comes to the C.L. But you also need a bit of luck in that competition like Liverpool did last season. Remember the season we got to the C.L final 2003? we lost around 4 matches to at least get there(Man utdx2, Basel, Real madrid) these days that aint enough.

Hopefully our luck will change on wednesday.

I agree. But maybe because I am an Arsenal fan I am not able to understand it. You guys are so spoilt with success. Juventus have won so many scudettos its obscene. For YOU guys it is not a big thing if you get past the quarters of CL. But Arsenal have not done it EVEN ONCE! So we admire wenger even though he has not achieved what capello has achieved.

I'll tell you one thing: It is not easy to get good managers. If capello leaves who is going to replace him? Think about it.
Well I admire wenger too, and I was thinking he would be a nice coach for us to have. Anyway other contentions I think we will leave to giraudo and co. I personally think having one of the following: prandelli, hiddink, hitzfield, deschamps, vialli, spalletti, erickson and maybe a few others. Your right about finding the right replacement wont be easy especially as capello has a very good pedigree, but prior to capello we had lippi and TBH lippi wasnt established much as a coach therfore altho it may sound a risk I think having a coach whose young and bright (former juventino) would be nice.

Come to think of it neither some of our fans cant understand it,
their watching Juve all year, the disastrous tactics that lead nowhere,
all our precalculated defeats and they are still not convinced,
if an Arsenal fan that had barely watched any Juve game now and the past is able to understand that the coach is to blame he got to be a freaking genius,
(or a well informed fan)

anyone with half a brain would realize that ANY player would do better in Turkey, rather than Italy. Common sense, fool:jester:

Nope, Wenger is the best in the world and beating Juve is nothing special. Our players are technically superior so it was a given if you didn't kick us off of the pitch (which you didn't for some reason).

Beating Madrid meant more if I'm honest and hosting them at Highbury will be one of the highlights of the season.

How many Juve fans will celebrate the Scudetto (if we win it) with great amount of joy... if we lose on Wednesday. I think these days, the CL is the only thing that matters to the fans. That's why there's a frusrtation about Capello because only reaching the 1/4 finals twice, is too low.

I agree with you. It's not going to be a big thing if we win the scudetto if we loose the champions in this way.

That's the perfect word to describe how I felt last Tuesday. I hope I won't feel it again (at least not too soon)

But as far as Lippi's second term went , things werent any better than what FC is being able to produce currently in Europe .
we may have had problems in 2003 in some matches, but overall Juve was the best team in the campaign according to any analyst. Del Piero and Nedved were just brilliant that season, and both deserved golden balls :agree:

no excuse, kid. If Lippi had the squad that CapeLOL has right now, things would have been different

Kosova, your a nit-wit !!! You make absolutely NO sense in what you post...talk about taking both sides in a debate :rolleyes2
so u r saying Lippi had a bad squad in the first year he came back to manage the team after ancelotti left ?i remember he had a good squad.
i know we convinced more in past years better performances and everything, but the fact is WE didnt win the CL.

So until a coach comes in and actually wins the CL then he would convince me that he is better than lippi and cap.
