Nope, Wenger is the best in the world and beating Juve is nothing special. Our players are technically superior so it was a given if you didn't kick us off of the pitch (which you didn't for some reason).

Beating Madrid meant more if I'm honest and hosting them at Highbury will be one of the highlights of the season.
Hahahahahahahahahahahahaha. You have got to be kidding..

1. Wenger is not the best coach in the world. He has not even guided you past the Quarterfinals YET.
2. Your players are not "technically" superior. I seriously dont know how you can say Reyes, Gilberto, Fabregas, and Hleb are all technically superior to Mutu, Emerson, Vieira, and Camoranesi. Same goes with the defense. The only player technically superior out there is Henry, so come off it.
3. Please stop overrating yourself and making Capello look like a saint.

Wenger has done alright. Not great, but not bad. If that makes someone the best in the world, we have lowered our standards unfortunately.

I'd take Mourinho as a coach over Wenger in a heartbeat, FWIW.

Madrid is a team that represents more of what they used to be rather than what they are now. Ever since their ultimate collapse at the end of the 2003-4 season, I no longer think you can consider them anywhere near as elite as they may have been prior.

And Juve is, well, the Inter of Europe. Even they beat out Real Madrid at the round of 16 last season, which should tell you something.

I think Arsenal have as much a chance as anyone to win the final. But I honestly don't think they've been tested much yet. Particularly when you look at their EPL performances. They'd have to keep a good streak of form running through May, which isn't automatic.

basically arsenal has a good chance to win until ronaldinho rapes them, leaving them sobbing in their own blood and other bodily fluids.

same goes for about everyone that has to take on the ugliest man alive

agreed

we beat madrid in their prime, i dont think arsenal would've even thought about that, just beat them when they were down with soo many problems.

Wenger is the best Manager. It is down to him that Arsenal are the biggest growing brand in world football. What he brings to a club isn't measurable by cups won, which is something I'm sure you'll understand as Capello wins trophies and you all want him sacked.

Gilberto- Emerson (Gilberto)
Cesc- Vieira (Cesc)
Camoranesi- Hleb (Hleb)
Reyes- Mutu (Reyes)

Every single time I would take the Arsenal players; no question asked.

The only Juve players who are technically better than their opposing players are Zambrotta (but that's debatable when Cole comes back) and Cannavaro who frankly shits on Senderos from a very high height.

So all you have is more experience and greater physicality. :faq1:

Madrid have never played us before and that's why the occasion was bigger; we've played (and beat) Juve a few times before.

obviously Madrid are shit, that's why they are second in la liga.

You can look at our league position and take comfort in that if you like, but any team in the world with the injury problems we have had would be in our position (arguably worse off).

But are they technically better? Or is it that they have a better blend of physicality, experience and technique?

Personally, as I said, the only Juve players I'd take are Zambrotta (if Cole leaves) and Cannavaro. Maybe Buffon because Lehmann is getting old now. I'd say that Arsenal have the most technically gifted squad in england easily and is in the top 3/4 of europe in that department.

hmm its close, though emerson has better thechnique than gilberto, mutu and camo have good skills and technique, though so do hleb and reyes (i really think this guy is underachieving thoug, he was v good at the begining but not so much now)

Yeah, Reyes is the player who seperates Arsenal fans the most. Many hate him, many love him. For me he is still a bit too inconsistent, but as he is young I'm willing to allow him more time to correct that problem.

On his day he can be devastating, but he usually follows that with 3-4 bad performances although he looks to be getting better in that aspect at the moment.
