If you really want to know how bad Capello is as a manager please read your posts carefully. He has managed to make fans on here feel nostalgic about Appiah. It does not get worse than that does it? Our play has become so woeful under Capello , it has totally distorted people's memories to the extent that they are thinking Appiah was good overall for us. He has made Vieira into a very bad player , that peole are actually saying he is worse than Appiah.
I knew some people will come on here and defend our performance against Treviso, simply because thats the way they are , they defend everything. 0-0 against the bottom club is enough for me, i dont have to have seen the game to know we were hopeless again. But of cos you have guys coming on here to say we attacked but the ball will not go into the net. Anywasy i ahve watched to many games and come on here to see ppl so distorting the way a game went to suit us that i don't even bother with their analysis anyway.
The person who came up with how bad we were under lippi in cl , i didnt bother looking at your name sorry, of cos we had some horrendous results like losing at Leverkusen but I do know in that game we had so many players out with injuries that Nedved had to play as a striker but of cos you forgot to put that in, we lost to Arsenal as highbury 3-1 but we played well enough and it was 1-1 at one time and did watse some good chances in that game
The 3-0 reverse against Man united was a very bad result but we were not that bad, sometimes results tell a different story as to how the game went and if Trez converted his numerous very good chances it mught have been a different story and Tudor scoring an own goal did not help.
Someone was askinghow come Capello did not field a second team, it is this simple he knows how limited he is, as a manager and how much he depends on his individuals to bail him out and he knew if he fielded a second string team we would have lost as he does not have the nous to manage a team not packed with great individuals as there is no team pattern at all when he is concerned its all about the individuals.
Case in point , he tried it somewhat against Roma in coppa italia and we were 3-0 down in the first half, it took him bringing on Dp to get a credible 3-2
Same against Fiorentina, in Florence, we were 2-0 down before he brought his big guns to bail him out.

Appiah is doing wonders with Fenerbahce. running dribling and all, he has a lot of atacking abilities that I nevers seen him with Juve.
now you're comparing Serie A to the Turkish league ???!!

anyone with half a brain would realize that ANY player would do better in Turkey, rather than Italy. Common sense, fool:jester:

I really dont understand why people here hate Capello so much .
I have been followin juve only for about 6 years so cant say anythin about lippi's first term in charge .
But as far as Lippi's second term went , things werent any better than what FC is being able to produce currently in Europe
no excuse, kid. If Lippi had the squad that CapeLOL has right now, things would have been different

And its really funny as everyone who joins the forum cant understand why people hate Capello so much.. But u should get used to it.. As in this forum 90% want him out.. Thank god it isent the same in the real world..

IMO we should get a new coach unless Capello starts using some other tactics..
Atleast i dont HATE him as much as people do here
Kosova, your a nit-wit !!! You make absolutely NO sense in what you post...talk about taking both sides in a debate :rolleyes2

I don't understand all this criticism about capello. This man has won you 2 serie titles(this year its almost over) and you want to whine about his TACTICS!!!! If arsenal ever had a manager like that we would worship him.

I don't like his tactics but at least he is a nice guy unlike mourinho who is an arrogant prick. In fact I think in the second leg Juve have a BIG chance of winning the tie because of the absence of Fabregas and eboue(Hope they are OK!!!).

Juve have a fearsome attack with the return of Nedved and DelPiero and so honestly I am scared.

Yes he will bring us two titles. Yes he has a great pedigree. Yes he doesnt whine. The real fact is our priority was the CL and has been with last season too, although capello played that down as it was his first season. Whats bizarre about his tactics is that he has played the same team throughout every match. Now I think its fair to say he may bring success on a domestic level, but if we want the CL then he needs to develop how to rotate the squad, which is simply something he hasnt done. Not only this season, but also the season before. So although some of the criticism is harsh, it will certainly be deserved if we perform poorly again. We were "humiliated" against werder and humilated against your team in the first leg. I think we cant rely on lady luck to guide us through to the final its obvious the tactics were poor but it seems his afraid to change them, that is exactly why his getting this criticism.

Once again to highlight the point. CL was the priority. I hope im prooven wrong about capello and the way he uses his tactics wisely against arsenal and leads us to the CL final and beyond.

appaih has been doing wonders. he should've definetely stayed, not blasi. then again he was the only dm he was able to bring in some cash, he earned us what? 4m iirc. just imagine how much would blasi bring :howler:

not sure here. as much as i love lippi, the man himself said that 03-04 squad is the best he had and coached us in the 90s.. i do believe better but would he take us past arsenal. who knows? its not only juve that is rubbish at the moment, arsenal on form of their lives

Lippi was the kind who was able to change the score. Since Capello took charge of Juve I can't recall him changing the game when we were 2-0 down....

I think he came back from his injury few days (or more) before treviso. He was proclaimed to have started against treviso by some newspapers, but we all know very well why he didnt.

I agree. But maybe because I am an Arsenal fan I am not able to understand it. You guys are so spoilt with success. Juventus have won so many scudettos its obscene. For YOU guys it is not a big thing if you get past the quarters of CL. But Arsenal have not done it EVEN ONCE! So we admire wenger even though he has not achieved what capello has achieved.

I'll tell you one thing: It is not easy to get good managers. If capello leaves who is going to replace him? Think about it.
