I don't think Conte is the type of manager to be happy for us to sit back on 1-0 or 2-0 leads (cough *Delneri* cough). We have to always take the initiative in every game and dictate the tempo of the game.
Cough :yuck: cough

and you are right Conte seems like a manager who is not statified until the game is over and juve wins :)

I dont know if Esti can play as LB but imho seeing how he plays, he can be our Marcelo, or D. Alves.... I think that this is the best option, i think that Chiellini (though he has played LB before) would be stupid at LB. Just play Esti or Grosso, give them defencive duties, not to go in the attack too often, and it is done..... Putting Chiellini at LB is so Del Neriish in my eyes. Lets see what Conte will do.... Anyways....

agreed, but there are signs things have changed. true its very early to tell what might happen but put a side the tactical aspect of parma's game the mentality of the players has changed, when was the last time we saw a juve manager remain with a stern look on his face despite his team scoring one goal??? if memory serves me right all the previous managers par dd were going nuts on the side line even if we were just leading by one goal as if there job here is done!! regardless of how horrible we played. it caught my eye how conte just started smiling after the fourth goal, its like he wants to instil into the players heads its never good enough to lead by one goal, i want goals to mirror the kind of team we are up against, and the performance that goes with it. lets just say the mentality is not provincial like with other coaches that have taken over us in recent years where just scoring a goal was good enough. hopefully we gain more confidence and iron out any little bugs in our game plan so that we improve from game to game. i'm liking the work conte has done its evident unlike last season where there was work taking place but it was to waste bec the mind set was completely not suiting to a team of juve's caliber.
all valid points, but really, it's been ONE game. credit where it's due, but consistency is key, the team can be well fired and motivated for ONE game, let's see how they fare for the season. of course we are all rooting for the same team ! here's hoping
