I think lots of people here are overestimating Roma. Yes they won their 3 opening matches ,yes they are leaders with yet to concede, but it's Roma we're talking about. They have midweek game in hand, home advantage , which mean the pressure is on them, not on Juventus. We do need to improve our pace and game in general and with fair refereeing and some luck we'll come back to Turin with 3 points in the bag.

Fuck it, it's depressing and sad seein people loosing hopes.... we might not have the same squad we used to have, but we're Juventus, we fight, we fight and we fight.

And that's only after one unlucky defeat, some people have tight nerves here. With comments , 6:0 for Roma , we are shit , they will destroy us. Not a very great way to support your team, guys.

Lets not forget the 5-2 of the preseason :D

If our player are on form we can win. Whats worrying that the last two matches they werent. We were unlucky not to score against Udinese, but that was just one mans efforts.

the good thing about playing away is that we don't have to make the game. we can react, it's good because we miss something in midfield

roma have a good team and they have made some good deals as well (giuly, cicinho). To be honest that cicinho deal is very good for them, i quite like the kid, in real never established, but has potential in my eyes. Whats even more surprising is that after all the saga about chivu and as he was also linked with real who didnt got him, they still sold cicinho to roma.

Secondly our main problem is the central midfield duo, as we still have no idea what is the best duo/trio to have and now we are going to play one of the best midfields in serie a. Roma are dangerous from the wings so its even harder for us to attack without camo.

too close IMO, i like the optimism but our defense is nowhere near par to hold up against top flight serie A attacks. our offense needs to produce with our talent up front. buffon can only do so much if our defense makes the attack take bad shots, but our offense needs to capitalize on mistakes and fast breaks. stretching roma's defense is the key IMO.

I really believe starting with 3 midfielder,Nocerino,Zanetti and Tiago would be the best option for us,I know theres no Nedved, but he could be our extra spark in the second half, when we usually play much better..then 3 upfront, with either Palladino/Iaquinta along with DP and Trez..But the defense really need to get a grip and perform,I really wish Birindelli doesn't have to play this match..

I still can see a Juve win here, with 2-1,but a draw is also fine..
Forza JUVE!!!!!

I thought I'd never say that player for player, Roma have the better team :faq2:
I wouldn't agree 100%. I'll take Buffon over Doni ANY day of the week.

But...
That's what happens when you get demoted to the second division & lose so many key players. Plus, let's not ignore that this Roma squad has been building slowly to the level it's at now. I admire the job they've done there. Spaletti has a good squad & should contend for Europe & the scudetto.

I love the fact Juve is going with the younger players & giving them a chance. In fact, I wish guys like Palladino would get to see more action. The future is bright for Juve. The scudetto is just a dream, but if we can get a CL spot for next season that would be a HUGE victory for the team & pave the way for some big signings in the offseason.
